Not sure yet, but if I eat much more chicken, I will start to grow feathers.

Lol. I could eat chicken or fish every single day of my life and be happy.  8)

In fact, tonight I am having chicken.

Last night I had pot roast. Put the roast, potatoes, and carrots in the crockpot in the morning and was ready to eat with a salad that night. Yummy.

Angie

       Chicken  :puke;   I am so sick of chicken.

Tonight ground beef cassarole!    Ah, beef!    :2thumbsup; :2thumbsup;

I love Del but I hate most fish... so if she invites me for supper I'll just have apple pie and home made wine.

Actually I don't like much meats except on occassion... well the ground stuff like burgers, meatloaf, HOW DO YOU SPELL LASAGNA?, exc.  Tonight I'll try  a meatload.  Surely there's a recipe on Food Network.  I love cold meatload sandwiches.... GOOD bread, cold meatloat and mayonaise.  Yeah.

I'm making Kentucky fried chicken tonight.  A friend gave me a recipe and told me it was delicious so I am going to try it tonight. We are going to hubby's sister's to eat. I am taking chicken and coleslaw and she is doing fries and dessert.

Dan I would serve you any food you like if you came here. I would even make lasagna ( it's one of my fav foods!!).  You have never tasted my pan fried fresh cod fish!!!   It is yummy!!!  Fresh from the north Atlantic!!

Truthfully Del, I've never tasted Cod or many kind of fish.  Basically all  I like in the way of fish is salmon and talapia... but I'd try your cod.

Here's a recipe for folks on dialysis.  I haven't tried it myself, so maybe Dan can give us a review.

Sauteed chicken breasts in a creamy mushroom tarragon sauce.  Red cabbage braised with onions and balsamic vinegar, tiny new potatoes slowly dry-roasted in a covered clay pot.  Stewed fruit with yogurt for dessert.

Chili made with ground turkey instead of ground beef.  Half the calories for the same taste - yummy!

Last night I was stuck at Northwestern until past 6PM, so I had a spinach and cheese croissant from Au Bon Pain on the car ride home. At least I got extra iron from the spinach.

Moroccan lamb tagine with lots of veggies, spices and chick peas served on coarse bulgur wheat instead of couscous.  Garnished with cilantro, toasted almonds and a few currants.

A big plate of veggies and dip, a small cheese and turkey filled biscuit, and the sound of me repeating over and over, "I will not overeat just because I'm stressed.  I will not overeat just because I'm stressed.  I will not overeat just because I'm stressed. . . . "

we are having alfredo. from a jar so it is mostly yucky oil and water. still evil but the poor italian guy cant have tomato sauce so i have to give him something. anyways i made rotini, mixed in the alfredo and a little motzarella, a little parmesean on top and maked it. then i toated 2 small rolls and made some green beans.

I prefer to make high protein meatloaf! without ketchup  :'(

The last 3 nights:
Garlic stir fry chicken
Stuffed portabella mushrooms
Seafood medley (muscles, octopus, squid, crab) sauteed over spaghetti with a white clam sauce.
I have been trying to cook some different things for me and the kids.  Hamburgers and bbq chicken get boring after awhile.

recently i've been grilling everything imaginable with a george foreman grill. now this is something i thought i would never use. someone gave it to us and it's been in the cupboard for years. but i had marinated steaks a few weeks ago   :rofl; then discovered the grill was out of propane and didn't have the money to go get a new bottle. so i thought i'd give it a try. it worked surprisingly well! everything is very moist and the cooking time is amazing. i think i'm a convert!!!!  :rofl;

I had probably half a cup of Marcona almonds. Not feeling well, and they are my new addiction that I can eat through the worst of times. The boys had hamburger patties crumbled over boxed mac n' cheese with watermelon on the side.

Not one of our better efforts, but of course the kids could hardly believe their luck!
