Last night made some black bean turkey chile. It was super yummy.  Had myself a bowl of that for lunch as well and a coke zero with some key lime.  Good stuff!

13 bean stew with pancetta, diced chicken, onions, diced tomatoes, fennel, garlic, carrot and chicken stock.  I'll make quinoa to accompany it.

dinner is the last meal of the day if you are having company-
and you are going to eat with plates and silverware and you are saying grace --

deer meat chili and deer meat for the next year --- every way you can think to cook it --- we have a freezer full of venison :waiting;

      Ah, we didn't have meatloaf.  Seems someone (not me :)) forgot to take out the ground beef to thaw.  We had cube steak instead, which is what my wife did take out to thaw out (not realizing it was not ground beef  :o).  Tomorrow we might have meat loaf, I have no idea.  ???   
        Dinner:  The chief meal of the day, eaten in the evening or at midday.  Also, a banquet or formal meal in honor of a person or event.
         Supper: an evening meal, typically a light or informal one.

      Whatever you had or have, I hope it was good.

Went to a potluck at our clubhouse, meat loaf being the main course, and some very strange things, such as olives, stuffed with cream cheese and walnuts, but a lot of good things too. I ate very little, as guess what, none of it was renal friendly.

My KDOQI Nutrition (+/ -):  2,450 Calories, 84 grams Protein/day.

I have a sirloin roast in the slow cooker.   Going to have mashed potatoes and veggies with it.  Homemade apple pie and ice cream for dessert.

Great minds think alike, Del.   I put a roast in the slow cooker and have now put half into a pot of beef/veggie soup.   Oh, but no apple pie for us  :(     Walt is one lucky guy!   

But, now spaghetti sounds really good!

I have been having pasta with sauce out of a jar all week. It's quick at least.

Gwyn made blueberry ice cream based on some insane American-in-Paris ice cream guru's recipe. It is freezing here, but this stuff is irresistible. He tried to make meringues chantilly (because the ice cream calls for many egg yolks, so he needed to use up the whites) but they all stuck, cement-like, to the wax paper, so we have a little container of meringues shards to do I-don't-know-what with.

We ordered out from this lil bar and grill called Do'Hickeys. We had these amazing hamburgers, onion rings, french fries, chicken strips and gizzards. All fried foods. It was so good.
