I moved my fridge and stove today and cleaned behind it- what a mess!!!  I have my kitchen floor all mopped now too!! Only thing left is the stairs and the entrance.  That's a job for after supper.  The smell of cleaner makes me feel good!!!  :thumbup;

No snow for my road trip to see the plastic surgeon, and had lots of fun chatting with the friend who met me there.  Darn her, she wouldn't even let me pay for the room!  The surgeon has lots of experience closing the kind of wound I have, and he worked out a slow but steady course of treatment with the least chance of infection for a transplant patient.  I'm whinging a little because it means 2 surgeries and another 6 months of messing with this, but I'm working hard on the positive attitude - really, honest, uh huh!   :P

The whole family feels better today. I think we all caught a mild bug from my younger son, who reported that one of his friends threw up at school Friday. We were all lethargic and disinterested in food for the past few days. Not anymore!  :cheer:

I am eating CHEESE on a cracker because my dietician told me so!  That's gotta be a positive.  She said I still wasn't allowed coke though...couldn't they make coke with protein in it?

We have new children at my school from the Sudan - fresh from 5 YEARS in a camp.  And one of the boys put his name down to audition for drums in the school band.  Along he came, with minimal English, and never having played this kind of drum before and did a great job!  Not good enough to be the drummer, but who cares?  He had a great time and it was lovely to see.

Dan, sometimes you have to look pretty deep to find a positive but there is always some glimmer of a positive - might be tiny but it is there!!  I've had lots of days when I have had to look very hard for a positive.  :cuddle;
