Write down each day one positive thing that has happened to you in this thread!
It says in the Woman's Day magazine people who did this were more optimistic!
Today I had lunch at Chili's with a good friend!

and then I decided to take a different route home to see different scenery and of course I got way out of the way lost, passed shopping malls that I remotely knew existed, got home, had a bite and am relaxing.
Good idea KK

NBC News, Brian Williams, has been ending His Broadcast every Day with a Positive Message. Tonight, He spoke of a Restaurant Owner, in Michigan, that is offering, a Pay What, You Think It Worth, plan for this Week, to boost Sales and Help People out. When I lived in Michigan, I Walked to that Restaurant many Times. It made me feel, good to see my Old Hometown, on the World News, Tonight, in a Positive light. Made Me Smile.

The screw I found in my new tire had not punctured the tire! The guy said it went in sideways and the tire was fine.

I read that Natasha Richardson donated her organs, and I thought it was wonderful that her family honored her wishes and they were willing to publicly share the news.

In the UK in my area there was a digital change over and we all had to re tune our TV's, thought it would be just the touch of a button, but landed up taking 2 hours to sit down read instruction, pulling my hair out, in the end I through down the book pressed all the buttons I could and it worked. Didn't end there next door lady knocked and asked me to do her TV's. So spent another hour doing hers, what a night mare I can just see every one having the same trouble why can't they just leave things alone so us OAP's know what we are doing. Yvonne

Great idea Kit - I love to do the positive thought things - that is what keeps me going some days.
My son called last night - he lives in Las Vegas and I live in Vermont - seeing him is rare which makes his calls to check in a real "smiling" event.
And, as mentioned by Rose - the bunny is back. What a great way to start the day!!!

It's warm enough to open my office window today and I can hear the sea gulls. It's a great office and I should be more appreciative of the view. I am going to look at the view for a minute or two and then get back to work.

I talked to my Mom today- and the wind is blowing the bells my husband gave me.
This is a great thread- when I sat down and first saw the title I thought nothing good happens anymore to me, but after reading all your posts, it helped my outlook a bit. I cant stop coming here to IHD- when my husband was still here, I came to IHD everyday-multiple times- its a big part of the last three years. I still need to come here.

Today my nephrologist called to let me know my creatinine went down this month to 3.0 instead of 3.2.
It was very touching for her to call because it made me feel like maybe she really does care about me after all.
