tonight, 1/2 peanut butter (spread lightly) and jelly and about 6 oz. of milk,  ugh, i know what lies ahead and i am afraid to tell Sam, lol.. oh well, he's got me, farts and all dammit :P

Tonight I had 2 Tacos Carne Asada with red salsa, with rice and beans and Abondigas soup.

I am not lieing, i was out kinda late and when i got home that was the only thing there was (havent gone shopping since i've come back from my "mission" lol,  BUT, tonight i feast on Taquitos w/guacamole, rice and maybe just a smidgen of beans.  I know it aint gonna be no Cielito Lindo's but i guess it will have to do until we go back  :P

today i spent all afternoon leeching potatoes-I do both the soaking method,and the double-boiling method i found on the irish renal web-site.
(I figured they would have the potatoe thing really figured out and they do!!)  http://www.ika.ie/diet.html

then I fried them in the oven in grape seed oil,cooked chicken on the grill,garlic toast,and broccli slaw and hush puppies


I love seeing what everyone else eats too!!

Well the bad thing is some of us are not faithful to the renal diet, but then there are people like Zach on here who put me and others to shame. I personally think after reading Zachs "supper" posts, he is either a "bird" or a "robot" you decide.  ;)

But good for you for leeching the potatoes first. :thumbup;

I do try to cook as renal as i can-but sometimes we cheat a bit

tonight-hickory smoked sausage and mustard on a bun (3)and honey took 2 of each binder-

And tonight for supper i had my IHOP, i had a Breakfast Sampler,  Lovie ate my ham and i almost ate the rest, didnt even eat my pancakes and sausage, damn, i wish i would've brought them home,  i wonder if they've cleaned my table, lol,  oh well,  guess i am gonna have to go back tomorrow  :)  ::)

We always just snakc on snack food on xmas eve. Tomorrow however were having turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, corn, rolls, and stuffing (which i dont like, so i wont be having.)

Today i made my famous Toastadas for Kit and her hubby.   After a mad rush to the store for a chicken that is :P  (sorry Kit) lol,   on the toastada there was beans, spanish rice, rotissieree chicken, lettuce, tomatoe, cheese, sour cream and olives.    Hope you and Victor liked them Kit,  i enjoyed the company more myself ;) ;) ;) ;)
