Turkey drumsticks basted with fresh garlic sauteed in margarine cooked indirectly on the BBQ and watermelon.

**During the summer I cook on the BBQ almost every night.  It keeps the house cooler.  Because I have camped so much I have learned how to cook some pretty impressive meals outside.

shrimp tosado thing with avacodo slices and big shrimp and that sauce stuff full of vegetables - one of those
and two pollo lolo -- chicken with a pepper and cheese and bacon wrapped around it and then grilled
these are small like the ones with shrimp instead of chicken
I did not eat the rice or the chili con queso
my husband and son ate them for me
got to love them'

Brie on bavarian bread -- cousins brought me some German bread when they visited in May. I froze some of it and took out a bag today.

Watermelon gets me in trouble, DW. I bought some the other day and ate it all by myself the same day.

Well, you don't have to be a pic about it.  I just bought a slice although I wanted one of those little seekless ones.  Why am I getting to be so cheap?

Just got back from Picos where I took Gwen and had fajita's for two.  God, she talks loud.  Anyway I had a special coupon from e-mail for !0 off on the fourth.  But I didn't tell.  Also I had some kind of weird drink with beer and clamato juice and stuff.  Not bad, but then I wanted my real marguarita afterwards.

Sure is hot outside.  That's the limit of my 4th of july celebration unless they have fireworks on TV later...
Happy 4th to all patriots and to all you party animals.  Oh hell,  maybe I'll drink a corona.

Last night we had smoked chicken, hot links, hot dogs, hambugars.  K that was just the meat

Then we had potato salad, chips, nachos, frito pie, watermelon, cookies, brownies, strawberries, and baked mac and cheese....

SO MUCH FOOD!  I don't want to eat ever again.

Had a sirloin steak that was way too big so I cut it into 3 pieces, browned it in  olive oil, added can of low sodium tomatoes onion baby carrots and celery the put a pack of high sodium mccormicks stew mix in water and mixed it up and then cooked it a long long time.  Actually was pretty good, like a good beef stew and the meat was really fork tender.

That's all.  My recipes tend to be whatever is left in the fridge or cabinet -- sometimes tasty, other times garbage can worthy.
