:waving; twirl and G-Ma come on over. I make plenty so I can freeze them to have later in the year. paul.karen, I love making bread, I have really taking a liking to Beer bread. It is so good if made with a dark beer. My sourdough starter smells so wonderful. I need a bigger kitchen but it doesn't look like that is going to happen anytime soon. Poor me.  :'(

ESRD diagnosed 12/2006
03/2007 Fantastic Eye Surgeon in ND got my sight back and implanted lenses in both eyes, great distance & low reading.
Gortex 4/07.  Started dialysis in ND 5/4/2007
Gortex clotted off Thanksgiving Week of 2007, was unclotted and promptly clotted off 1/2 hour later so Permacath Rt chest.
3/2008 move to NC to be close to children.
2 Step fistula, 05/08-elevated 06/08, using mid August.
Aug 5, 08, trained NxStage and Home on 9/3/2008.
Fistulagram 09/2008. In hospital 10/30/08, Bowel Obstruction.
Back to RAI-Latrobe In Center. No home hemo at this time.

Cadaveric transplant 1985
New upper-arm fistula April 2008
Uldall-Cook catheter inserted May 2008
Haemo-dialysis, self care unit June 2008
(2 1/2 hours X 5 weekly)
Self-cannulated, 15 gauge blunts, buttonholes.
Living donor transplant (sister-in law Kathy) Feb. 2009
First failed kidney transplant removed Apr.  2009
Second trx doing great so far...all lab values in normal ranges

twirl, Len loves my sausage gravy over homemade biscuits. I make a pretty good chipped beef gravy too. twirl, monrein, G-Ma and anyone else, you all are welcome anytime. Now don't laugh you guys, I have 3 (yes 3) Kitchenaid mixers and it's not unusual for 2 to be going at the same time. I love baking and with the weather getting colder (you have snow already Gail, just start driving south), I'll be in the kitchen a lot. This Thursday, I'm making pizza dough for my daughter and son to freeze. I'm still trying to master a sweet yeast dough that we had in Oriental NC years ago. I love, love, love the smell of bread baking, even my neighbors say they can smell it.  :cuddle;

I had hot wings tonight. A friend from work had a free 200 wing party and invited my hubby and I. It was great.

We had a London Broil tonight, hadn't had one in quite awhile, so it was delish.  Also baked
potatoes, squash and onions, corn pudding, rolls and iced tea.  Yum Yummmy!

There is nothing better than home made fresh bread still warm out of the oven with real butter on it......yummy

Just had a taco bell taco and nachos.... would have rather had fresh bread :banghead;

And chipped beef over fresh bread.  Or Sausage gravy over fresh Biscuits.

We had pork roast made with a German Paprika-rahm(cream) seasoning package with potato dumplings.. but they were from the box. I do not make my own potato dumplings.

For desert, home made brownies with ice cream. I did not do the brownies -- one of the "roomates" did.
