OOh, can I come.  I so want to visit Newfoundland.  I'll make my roasted rosemary root vegetables glazed with red wine and balsamic vinegar.

My daughter in law's 40th birthday so her mom and dad cooked as they love to do...oh Lord the food....all Shannon's favorites...Chicken Casserole with water chestnuts, sour cream and cheese, potato salad, pinto beans in a wonderful sauce, mac and cheese, home made cream corn, cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, peanut butter and chocolate layered brownies and assorted drinks.  Yes, sorry, I tasted it all and it all was wonderful, then came home and just crashed.  This couple does sometimes cater and during the holidays has standing orders for all sorts of entrees and baked goods, and generally make enough for about 50 to 75 people and during the holidays more so they can take plates to shutins and send lots home with the kids, other family members, and friends.    :cheer:

Holy macaroni.  That's tough stuff on a renal diet.  Sounds delicious.

We had black beans and rice with pico de gallo, cheese and sour cream.  The pico de gallo was made with tomatillos that grew in our garden even though we never planted any.  I think the seeds must have come from the compost pile.

Love homemade bread.   Love sourdough bread.
Never had homemade sourdough bread :-(

It is order out night here.  So whatever Karen decides on we shall have.
