I am all for take-out tonight, too. Can we meet halfway JBeany?
Hmm - what's halfway?  St. Louis?  I'm good for it - let's go!

Come on over Jbeany. We're having homemade chicken and noodles tonight. Very good night for it, it's cold, drizzley and gloomy out. Comfort food tonight.

That's sounds good, too!  Maybe kit and I can both make it!

Twril, Boost is a 'medical' shake bought in stores, it's given to elderly people, as well as those who need the extra nutrients. It comes in chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, and sometimes, butter pecan. I drink a couple a week, it's an excellent way for me to get protein, especially when I'm too tired to either cook OR eat. Yes, it is possible to be that tired!!!

For tonight, I went downstairs, went to the kitchen, made some decaf coffee and grabbed a bag of Rold Gold cinnamon pretzel twist sticks. Drank the coffee, but only ate a little of the pretzel sticks. Should have stopped at Burger King or Portillo's to get a burger on the way home. Could have gone for some really good Wisconsin chedder cheese soup i it was available here.

We drove to Nashville yesterday for my son's drum lesson and went through the Krystal drive-thru on the way home.  We shared a sackful of Krystal burgers w/cheese and some fries.

Boiled some potatoes and mashed them with butter & season salt and topped them with mushroom gravy. that's it. That's all I wanted, that's all I"ve had today!

Tamales are a Mexican (or Spanish or Native American) dish made of chopped meat (usually pork or chicken) and seasoned with chile peppers, surrounded by corn dough (masa), wrapped in corn husks, and steam cooked. They are pretty time-intensive to make so most people make them here around Christmas. I keep a few stashed away in my freezer because I love them!
