We cooked a roast in the crock pot all day, then shredded it all up and mixed barbeque sauce all in it, put them on hamburger buns an had barbeque sandwhiches, potatoe chips and dip and green beans.  :2thumbsup;

MIL is cooking for Xmas eve dinner.  I get the whole shebang of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes. ..  oink oink - and I don't even have to cook!  (Those are always the best meals!)

It was.   Today I took the leftover ham and melted some sharp cheddar over it on dutch crunch sandwich rolls.  Heavenly.  I'm so far off my normal diet that I keep waiting for my body to revolt, but it was sooooo good. 

Back to chicken breasts and applesauce tomorrow.    :P

I don't like canned vegetables. Still no fiber and nothing but white bread. YUK! I don't know how people live on this no fiber low residue diet. It's horrible. oswald, give me that hot dog and I promise not to hurt you.  ;D

And no, I wasn't gonna eat them, I was going to pass them on to my Dad, I needed the space for

Um.  welll, now, hot dogs ARE good food, darn it!! especially with relish & mustard and ketchup.

And a good hot corn dog, fresh from the fryer, with season salt & ketchup. WONDERFUL!!!

You caught me. I AM pawning off bad food on to my dad. I hang my head in shame.  The
ingratitude of daughters!!!!  I am the lowest of the low!!!

Sorry, but i have to jump in on this, lol, I love me a hot dog every now and then, maybe once a month i will eat a hot dog or even a corn dog.  Life is too short not to enjoy some "good/bad food" every now and then ;) ;)  :2thumbsup;

Well, now. I said they were not good for us, I didn't say I NEVER ate them!!!!

I too believe in 'intelligent disobedience' in following our diet. We couldn't live
otherwise!!!

I just didn't want the stuff in my freezer, when my Dad could eat it and be happy for it!!

By the way, I vote for CORN DOGS!!!!!! They rock!!!!

Every New Years I cook a Prime Rib, make yorkshire puddings, brocculi for a veggie, lots of horseradish for the beef and a couple sips of a nice white wine then a movie maybe some popcorn then bed. Hardly ever make it till midnight...Boxman
