Two tacos, a tamale and half the rice and beans on the plate. Yes, I am the Mexican food queen!

A chicken breast, broccoli and cauliflower.  Again.

And I had a late night snack of pancakes, since I'm not supposed to eat anything after midnight, and I didn't want to be half-starved all afternoon during my fistulagram.

The Salsa flavor is only 20 mg of phosphorus per oz.  Lots of sodium, tho.

Tonight I had "STUFF"

What is "Stuff" you ask? Well when my wife put the plate in front of me I asked her "what is this" and she said "STUFF"  ::)

It was Chicken mixed with red peppers, onion, mushrooms, and seasoning all sauteed in a pan. It was good though.

The water has to be ice-cold and you don't use too much.  Also, some cereals are sweet enough, that if you let them sit in the water a little bit, the water gets syrupy.

Sort of like when you add water to Dog Chow.

Tonight I will make--lettuce/cucumber/greenpepper/celery/onion salad  1 1/2 cups  (no onions on husbands)

I will use hamburger and make some beef sausage with salt-free seasoning you can buy here www.wassis.com  (which is also a local butcher)
then make oarnge 'stuff'(thanks for the name sluff)

which is: 2 lbs of sausage, 1 onion, 1/2 greenpepper,1 stalk celery-all veggies minced tiny and added to the same pan

if you use a fatty cut of ground -don't add oil-but if you use chuck or better, add a little grapeseed oil-2 tspoons or oil of your choice

add seasoning:black pepper/garlic powder/onion powder to taste,I tend to use the most black pepper, then less garlic(you can use

fresh too)then the least onion powder.I season at the beginning and again in the last two or three minutes. and a bit of sugar 1/4 cup

Cook on med-until browning occurs-sometimes i also add a little water-it helps the mince veggies disappear-but what they do is

contribute  to the sauce.when all done to your likeing.Add  4 to 6 cups cooked elbow noodles,

and 1 1/2 cup  spagehetti sauce-

just enough to make it oarnge--use as little as you can--it surprised me how little it took to give decent flavor-

this makes a big ole potfull-gives me enough to feed the kids a second time

Field green salad, alfredo sauce with egg noodles, battered venison steak, followed by hot cherries on a crumb crust, topped with whipped cream and grated dark chocolate.

I was in the mood to cook tonight.
