Today i made my famous Toastadas for Kit and her hubby. After a mad rush to the store for a chicken that is (sorry Kit) lol, on the toastada there was beans, spanish rice, rotissieree chicken, lettuce, tomatoe, cheese, sour cream and olives. Hope you and Victor liked them Kit, i enjoyed the company more myself
For dinner, we are going to have steak sandwiches at Kozmo's in Stockton, we are going to visit family there and they have the best sandwiches.Panda_9, spanish rice is very easy, you use 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water and one can of tomatoe sauce, first you can brown some onions in a little bit of oil, throw in the rice and brown that, when rice is a light brown, throw in 1 can of tomatoe sauce and the two cups of water, add spices (salt, pepper, garlic powder) bring to boil, cover and reduce heat, usually takes about 15 minutes to finish cooking. Hope it comes out for you...(if you need to make more, just double everything) Good Luck...
