Ooops, sorry - my Dad's term for when the potatoes didn't have any give left to them when you stuck a fork in them.  Basically, it means cooked through, almost soft enough to mash them.

Homemade hamburger fried rice with sugar snaps, carrots and peas.  Spicy Chinese garlic, ginger eggplant with fresh basil.  Lime sorbet and apple slices for dessert.

Lost vision due to retinopathy 12/2005, 30 Laser Surg 2006
ESRD diagnosed 12/2006
03/2007 Fantastic Eye Surgeon in ND got my sight back and implanted lenses in both eyes, great distance & low reading.
Gortex 4/07.  Started dialysis in ND 5/4/2007
Gortex clotted off Thanksgiving Week of 2007, was unclotted and promptly clotted off 1/2 hour later so Permacath Rt chest.
3/2008 move to NC to be close to children.
2 Step fistula, 05/08-elevated 06/08, using mid August.
Aug 5, 08, trained NxStage and Home on 9/3/2008.
Fistulagram 09/2008. In hospital 10/30/08, Bowel Obstruction.
Back to RAI-Latrobe In Center. No home hemo at this time.

Yummmy!!! Coorsbob - I'm a Filipina but can't speak Tagalog fluent.  Grew up in America.  But can really cook some Filipino foods.  My Lola and Nanay taught me well.

Yeah my wife spoils me with fresh home made lumpia's alot. If we have a gathering in northern California sometime I know what I will bring!
Still trying to learn the Tagalog here as my wife and son speak it fluently.I just pick up a word or two here and there is all. :banghead;

Tonight, a small steak I have to eat before it goes bad. Wonder if Bailey's is a good marinate ??? Well that does go in my Nepro tonight along with whipped cream from a can

   -glaucoma and surgery for that

Lumpia is different from a spring roll or an egg roll- I think better- they are one of my favorite foods in all the world!!! I like banana lumpia too- its dessert!

OMG! This picture of Lumpias is making me very HUNGRY!!!  Twirl - Lumpia is similar to spring rolls.  One of the great foods of the Philippines.  They are so good. I just hate wrapping and rolling.  Kills my back.

We call the banana wrapped in lumpia wrappers Taron.
