Stopping to smell the bluebonnets

W&W if I could, I would eat that whole plate! The first time my sister-in-law made those, I was in heaven! I love those and pansit (sp?), adobo, afritada, and there's some desert thing called hallo hallo? I love Filipino food!

I had Vietnamese spring rolls (filled with minced pork, veggies and clear noodles) on top of rice vermicelli and mixed in with freshly shredded cabbage and carrot and lots of fresh cilantro, mint and thai basil.  One of my favorite meals of all time.

I made tons of Jimmy Dean cheese, sausage balls and my husband called me from his basketball tournament and wanted to know what else I was going to cook for dinner  -  so it is  eggs over easy and plenty of sausage balls  and then I have to make a ton of those walnut cookies  so guess what he will have for dessert
I will eat a protein shake  with strawberries     sounds good but they are getting a little pukey to me

sent you a pm

you use cheese. bisquick, and sausage and mix and roll into balls and bake and they are sooooo good
I always use sharp cheddar cheese - shredded and hot Jimmy Dean suasage
you would love them and they smell so good when cooking
will send more detailed recipe if you are interested
your husband will love you more and more with each sausage ball eaten
thank goodness, between my son and husband and daughters there are hardly any sitting around waiting for me

Thanks twirl. No, it's not an oil painting. I've been playing with some photo software I got for Christmas and can do some really weird stuff.   :cuddle;

I threw a chuck roast into a pan with some celery, onion, carrots, mushrooms and potatoes. They are calling for thunderstorms here this afternoon and then next Friday the high of 26. I'm not going to like this.  :o

Grilled chicken and salad.  Dessert smores outside on the fire ring.  I feel like a little girl scout again.

I had 1/2 a hamburger at Fuddrucker's and 1/2 of an ohhh so chocolatey milk shake. Now where did I put that insulin?

Twirl, I want the recipe for the sausage balls too! It sounds like something my hubby would LOVE.

Lunch was a carne asada burrito with rice, no beans and a diet coke.   It was good.  It fell apart when I added the salsa but was good anyway eaten with a fork.

Saul and I chopped up everything fresh this morning and have been simmering a pot of Beef Vegetable Soup all day.  It smells so good it's driving me over the edge.

Dinner tonight was warm from the oven pound cake, topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.  Hmm. . guess I skipped dinner and went right to dessert.

Inspired by jbeany's recipe, I made potato soup.  Yum!  It has potatoes, cream, cheese and broccoli, bacon and smoked salmon.  I don't usually make anything that rich, but it was the perfect soup for a cold night.
