What is a fruit cup?
Miracle whip in your sandwhich? I was gonna say thats strange but then I like cottage cheese with barbecue sauce.
Goolynina, we have got to get together for sandwiches. Maybe a picnic halfway between our houses? I am with you on the Miracle Whip. Love it. Use it on my sandwiches. My hubby hates it. LOL. Can you believe Doritos are upsetting my tummy now??? It sucks. The body wants veggies now. I am sitting here eating a bowl of snap peas microwaved with a little pepper and onion powder over them. Yummy. Weird for me.
About a cup of OJ for an insulin reaction - at least a mild one. Still - that's 450 of potassium according to the brand I've got here. If I have to have twice that, I'd be in trouble in a hurry. OJ always works best for me when my sugar is low, but I guess I'll have to stick with my second choice from now on and use apple juice. My other option is Smarties. They are cheap, individually wrapped, and they work as fast as most glucose tablets without tasting like chalk. No sodium, according to the label. It's mostly sugar and flavoring, so I don't think they've got an potassium either.

I honestly think the better option would be to have cordial or the glucose lollies which both contain no potassium and no phosphate that Im aware of.
