Cleaning out the fridge, haven't gone grocery shopping for a while.  So, I had to fix dinner from whatever I had.  I came up with pasta salad (several different types of pasta - the ends of a few boxes), with chunks of salami, onion, cheddar cheese, and Italian dressing.  Side of very sweet cantelope, and butter biscuits baked with Asiago cheese topper.   Now, I would love a bite of that cobbler, twirl.

We cleaned out the fridge today too. Leftover seafood soup, potato salad, refried beans, rice and T-bone steak.

Now hubby went to go buy desert. Mmmm.. which I know I do not need!

I threw caution (and my diet) to the wind tonight and grilled me a Rebel Burger. It was awesome and I'm sure I'll pay for it later.

Try BBQ'ing some shish-ka-bobs.  You can usually pick up some ready-made marinated ones at a local fruit market or meat shop.  This is always a favorite for quick & special around here in the summertime.  Some fresh fruit and perhaps bread on the side makes a great meal!!!  The veggies are already included on the stick, but you can cook some more if you like.  I love grilled asparagus.

Tonight my sister arrives from Florida (she used to live on a small island called Grant Island, but now lives in Vero Beach and they have a place on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica) for a two week visit.  We'll take her for dinner to a Japanese restaurant.

I'm having lobster tempura,  stir-fried veggies, couple pieces of California roll and rice.  Green tea with that.  I seldom if ever eat deep fried stuff but tonight I will for the lobster but I'll ask to have my veggies not deep fried.  I've sent them so much business over the years that they accommodate me very nicely and I really appreciate it.

Mibarra it is the stupid pre lap band diet
but the shake stuff is good
really good
I have those two times a day and then two regular size meals
that is if I really followed the diet
have to wait for the surgery b/c my calcium is too low
I mix fruit with the protein shake stuff and it tastes just like a Diary Queen shake
so
I wish I ate what you ate the other night  -- the night you cleaned out your fridge------- YUMMY

Started off with a Flavored Vodka (tasted like Pina Colada) lemonaid slush something, then fried ravioli (they used pepper cheese in the ravioli, and some ranch fries (bacon, mozzarella and Colby cheese melted on waffle fries, and then a 16 oz Guinness beer. No buzz though, guess not enough vodka :rofl;

Just some short fun with a few classmates today.
