AVG found and fixed my problems
I could be mistaken but isn't AVG suppose to only scan entire drives with a light or aggressive scan? I didn't know it can do single files.
ok I will do that Epoman because mine says I scanned 27 files when I only right-clicked on ONE and wanted only that ONE scanned. Must be bugged. I will reinstall. Thanks

Sandmansa: Nope! You are mistaken. You can right click ANY file and choose "Scan with AVG Free" Please see the attached image. I really think you should give AVG a try to see how feature enriched it really is.
