Oh, what a beautiful orange kitty and what a cute picture with the little girl!  Is that the same cat that is in the background of the picture you posted of the Great Danes?

Thanks for sharing, monrein.

that's adorable... kitty must relate to the girl's leopard like top (which looks kind of felty or furry which the kitty would really like.. warm and soft!)... that's absolutely gorgeous.

What wasn't so gorgeous was what I came home to on Saturday from D.. I was feeling pretty tired and wanted to hop under the covers for a nap... uh oh nope... kitty as much as I love her had managed to throw up on the end of my bed and all over the floor :s I was on cleaning duty!

Kitty looks comfy Monrein.

RM, to much to eat to cause her to vomit? Sorry to hear, I know how that is, but hope you didn't step in it like I did by mistake.

When you reply to a post and want to add a picture, look down and to the left of the reply you are writing for the additional Options link. Then under the Attach area, Click on browse and search on your computer for the picture file you want to add. Double click on that file name and the pop up window will close. A file name should now be in the Attach field. If your done writing a reply, click on post. However before you cattach a picture, use the spell check first because if you use it after, your file will no longer be there and you will have to do the browse function again.

Our cat Woody has been eating twice as much as normal but not gaining weight. They did a ton of lab work and determined he has a thyroid problem, which can be controlled with medication. So I started tonight giving him 1/2 of a small pill smashed up in his food. He is so savvy, just stared at the plate, then back at me. He is always suspicious of new smells. He is also impossible to give a pill to, you might as well just stick your hand in the garbage disposal because that what it's feel like after he's ripped your hand open. Hopefully he will start eating it in his food. There's a way to make a topical transdermal gel that you apply to the skin in the ears, but it's expensive and doesn't work for every cat. Wish us luck!

This is Harry (short for Harriet). She died last year of renal failure (go figure).  We saved her 17 years ago when we were doing a musical called Cabaret.  She was one of a few wild kittens hanging around the back of the theatre.  We caught them all, rehomed them and got the mother spayed.  We kept Harry.  She used to run in our front door catflat and run straight into the riser of the stairs sometimes -boof!  We think maybe she had a bit of a lack of something when she was a wild kitten.  She was gorgeous though.  Never grew up and always looked like a kitten - really tiny.  Still have three here to cuddle, but miss her all the same.  We've buried her under an olive tree which is doing well.

I like the color and markings.

Found out tonight my parents are discussing getting a manx kitten. I think that's the name of the breed, one with the short legs. I was watching auto racing at the same time in the restaurant.

Had to enlarge pictures to see, but came out fuzzy. The first one seems to have white splotches on the face and part of the chest. I have never seen markings like that in a cat, which is cool. Seen them in a dog though.
