 :waving; Hi Chris,
You sure that dog was just sitting on your foot, not chewing on it?  :oops;
Glad you're getting closer to surgery. Just exactly are they going to do?

I left the Witches of IHD because it's representative of the lengths some people will go to in an attempt to harm our forum.  Political cartoons are not considered defamation of character because Obama, Bush, and others are public figures. Using private people's photos in a derogatory way is malicious. Thank you to the members who have sent PM's in support of our admin team!!

Hey Chris:
Lemon Girl Scout cookies voluntarily recalled in Kentucky
Associated Press
Feb. 26, 2010, 6:41AM

LOUISVILLE — The breakdown of oils in some lemon Girl Scout Cookies may give them a bad taste or smell, prompting the manufacturer to issue a voluntary recall.
Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana sent out the recall notice Thursday. The cookies are not sold in the Houston area.
Scout spokeswoman Betsy Gladish says in a news release that the cookies are not a health hazard.
Don Davis, vice president and general manager of manufacturer Little Brownie Bakers, says no other cookies are involved and the only cookies in the recall were distributed from the Louisville Berger Warehouse.
The affected batches have the following lot codes, located on the bottom of each cookie box and on the brown cases: 7455881, 7455882, 7455883, 7456741, 7456742, 7456743, 7457661, 7457662, 7457663, 7458521, 7458522, 7458523, 7459401, 7459402 and 7459403.

   I see people still want fuss and fight here, and insult others whose politcal views are not their own.  Sad really, this has been such a good site with many czring and supportive people.

    I bid you all fairwell, I won't stay were people are insulted for doing their jobs or for expressing their beliefs.  And MUST add Rerun you are the rudest person here!

Sure, hide this post where I never read.  Good thing someone PM'd me.  It is not illegal to be rude.  I perfer to think I'm honest to a fault.  You would NOT believe what I don't say.  So, my new name is RUDE RERUN.

Happy?     :kiss;   OH, and you had 2 spelling errors.  I'm going to start pointing that out too.  USE the spell check!  I'm not perfect, but I at least use the spell check.

I am going to be in a lot of trouble then ..... my spell check does not work and English is my second language.....  :bandance;

Just got home from a fun night at Drag Bingo.  One of the "girls" had a major sewing problem this morning, so I spent the day finishing a Marie Antoinette gown. 30 yards of gorgeous fabric, but it didn't have any of the fasteners or embellishments on it.  I was literally sewing the last bow on as we drove to the convention center.   She got a standing ovation, so the last minute sewing frenzy was worth it.  $9000 raised for the Aids Alliance.   :thumbup;    But, now I am tired and the first grandson's basketball game is at 9:30 am.

Good night to all.  Hope your Saturday is a good day    :2thumbsup;

Hi Des and all
Foot has a fracture and may put off knee surgery. Seeing local orthopedic Tuesday because I can't be on crutches. I am also sick with the possiblity of being admitted to the hospital. Doctor talked about it Thursday, but said he will if I get worse which I sort of feel. Just been sleeping a lot and not getting fluids in. Feel nauseated right now.

Karol the surgeon has to see what is going on on the left side of my left knee since MRI did not show what is causing pain there, just the damage on the outer part (forgot medical term). He will either fix damage or do a knee replacement.

I speak English, French and Jamaican dialect (combo of English and mostly an African language called Twi) and depending on the dream, have dreamt in all three at different times.  When I spoke French all day at work it was very common to have dreams in French and since I taught French Language and Literature at the university level, when students appeared in my dreams they often butchered the accent or made lots of grammar mistakes and I found myself "working" in the middle of the night as well.
