Good day IHD - it stopped raining in Vermont - Now that is something worth writing home about.... oh, I am home or will be soon after I get out of work.  Good thing it is Friday or my mind would truly need some therapy.

I win in the meantime

Swelling is down, but  still hurts to open mouth. I think the ice cream is helping the swelling compared to the broth and soups. Pain is still worse than having a transplant.

Oh, Chris, what a lousy way to spend a Friday. (And Saturday and however long the pain lasts!)

After all our papier mache today, I'm pooped!

TGIF!!!  I'm tired too tonight. Been teaching all week and then going cod fishing in the evening .  I think it has all caught up to me.  I forced myself to make an apple pie and just took it out of the oven. Anybody want a piece of hot apple pie with cinnamon??  :beer1;  Only 9:30 and I am starting to fall asleep.  I even had a little snooze when I got home from school this afternoon.  Hopefully I will be rested up by Sunday. No school for me on Monday. I have to take a sick day for a dentist appt.  No dentist in our town so have to drive over an hour to see one. Hubby will have his monthly blood work done on Monday as well.  Then next weekend is the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday!!!   :yahoo;

Folks, I got home last night and had no internet service. So I came to school this AM to get some work done that needs connection. And of course I had to say hi! But don't worry about me the rest of the weekend (or into next week, maybe). The earliest they will fix the phone line is Monday. I'm in serious withdrawal!!!!  :P

And I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Went to g-daughters Pop Warner cheer squad this morning.  Then drove 30 miles to her brother's Pop Warner football game.  It was a long, hot day.  Zeke's team won 30-0 ---- undefeated so far this season.  Tomorrow is a cheer exhibition for about 3 hours.  I know -- it is easier to stay home, but I don't want to miss these moments in their lives.     :cheer:    :cheer:    :cheer:

I have bellsouth for my phone service. I'm at Mellow Mushroom for lunch because they have wireless! :rofl;

It is my landline that is down! Second time in less than a year. And they don't give refunds for the time that you don'et have service. Last time it was a week!

Fortunately we have cellphones!

Meanwhile, I WIN!

When  I re installed the OS on my computer I forgot about all my "donkey" pics.  Most came from the web but, Hanify, you sent me the little cute baby donkey.  Do you still have a copy?

Fortunately we have cellphones!

Still though, if they know you have a cellphone, it shouldn't matter it is a matter of a saftey issue such as needing it for  NxStage help or 911. That is bad service you have there and that they do not discount your bill for lost service. I bet they charge extra to if payment is late though. Luckily our cable will reimburse us for loss of service (we also have phone and internet through them too) which if I remember right became something they had to do in this state due to complaints.

I feel a little loopy right now with all the meds I have taken.

My son's team won yesterday 20-8! Last week they lost 8-10 to the team that went to Florida for the National Championships.  Their record is now 5-1. 2 more games to go.  It looks like they are going to make the playoffs.

Marc,
The ribbon of organ donation is green (see Paris's avatar).

But I like the kidney one (pee yellow fading out!)  :rofl; :rofl;

And I really, really win today! Creatinine clearance went from 69 to 88! I think I have a strong case for donating a kidney now!!!
