    Hello everyone  :waving;.  Still have electricity here, but we have 1 inch of snow and 1 inch of sleet on the ground.  Still sleeting though.  Suppose to get to 15 tonight and 10 on Monday morning, maybe above freezing tomorrow.  The whole state is shutdown, been seeing scroll on bottom of local TV channel mentining dialysis centers all across NC being closed.  Hope you all have a good day, staying home and warm myself.

The worst of the storm missed us. Just about an inch of snow, but misting now. Like your area, Rob, it is supposed to get down into the teens tonight. Tomorrow might be a bit messy! LOL

And I have to drive to Indianan tomorrow. Ugh!

Having problems with my computer screen blacking out when it is open all the way and need to have a Skype conference call this afternoon.  :oops;

Too late to get to the Apple store....

Aleta, that sounds like a graphic card issue, could be something simple like overheating but could also be the first signs of failure. Hopefully it is still under warranty.

Nah....

I've had this laptop for a while now... And I am hard on hardware.  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

But I may have time to take it in to the Apple store after Carl gets off dialysis tonight. It is easy to e-mail in to get an appointment. Problem is keeping it open far enough for the camera to pick me up so the other talking heads can see me during the conference call .  :urcrazy;

I'm stopping in. Feel odd today like blood sugar is low, but it's not and I have eaten something. So hoping it just passes, but will call transplant center Monday since they are concerned about pancreas lately.

       Good afternoon everyone  :waving; from dialysis on a Sunday.  We had trouble getting up the driveway today.  Our drive is down hill frm the street.   :banghead;  No problems on the internet today.  :bandance;

      Step daughter called, got to make we old folks are ok (not a complaint)   :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;.  Said they took the grandson out in the yard yesterday, on their sled.  The 15 month old  :puke; all over the place and the 3 year old didn't like it.   They came back in after 3 minutes. Took 30 to get them properly dressed. The 15 month old, has a tea duct infected, not sure if this would cause him to vomit or not. He has a procedure scheduled for next week to.  I'm going to be a nervious wreck when it happens, don't tell anyone   :secret;  I can and have handled all sorts of things, but when it come to the grand kids...well I worry.

       Chris, hope all is well. Let us know ASAP.

Hi Rob, good to hear you are safe  down there.  It is so pretty today--bright sunshine sparking on all the snow.  Our road is all ice--so you can slide downhill to the left or downhill to the right    :rofl;

Re: the tear duct.  One of mine was born with a blocked lacrimal gland  (tear duct) and had a huge bump (full of infection) under her eye at birth. Scared me to death. Took 3 doctors to diagnose.  She had a procedure at  4 weeks and has never had a problem since then.  I will be worried with you.  Hard to see the little ones go through things.  And I don't like anything around the eyes.  Keep  me posted!!

Chris, how are you feeling today?  Worried about you too!

      Thanks Paris.  Getting down the driveway, and to the house will be interesting after I finish at dialsis today.  My "boots" have little tread and slick su4faces concern me. I have fallen, and in the times it always took two people to get me up.  Appreciate yor ankles folks, they do a lot.

Drove to Indiana this afternoon and arrived without any major incidents. The roads were clear, but the parking lot at the motel is an ice sheet! Rob, even with good ankles, ice a treacherous! Almost bust my....

Anyway, I'm hunkered down for the evening now. E-mailed Carl to let him know that I'm all right.

Visiting another school in the morning and then home in time for Carl's treatment tomorrow night.

Chris, you all right?   :waving;

Take care everyone. I won't be checking in again until tomorrow night!  :cheer:

I slept all day and night. Took blood sugar not high, but odd that it is 115 since the last thing I ate was over 16 hours ago when I took it. Have a strange taste in mouth, sort of like when I was diabetic, an ammonia like taste. So I'll call local doc first to get test done, then call tx center.

Not really word, just normal medical problems. Might just   be something simple, but bad timing to see knee surgeon.
