Our city is slowing waking up from the snow.  Schools are closed, and lots of businesses.  Like Rob, our temps are going up, so snow is melting.  Our street is still all ice, but when you get out of the neighborhood, the roads are much better.

Tyefly, hope you have a good week.  You are an inspiration.   :2thumbsup;

Chris, how are you feeling today?  Take care.

Oh yeah------I win   :yahoo;     :2thumbsup;    :clap;

I took my older child in for a renal ultrasound today. Just a precaution.... I hope. We should have answers tomorrow.

Let us know the results, Cariad!

I am POOPED tonight!

I didn't sleep well in the motel last night. Then sat and observed a classroom that was not functioning very well, had a conference with the teacher and hopped in the car and drove home (4.5 hours) in time for Carl's treatment.

Got some more quality time listening to a fascinating book during the trip. But I need a goooooood night's sleep!

Had another successful treatment tonight.  Looks like hubby's access is ok, whew!  Tried a new frozen shrimp scampi for dinner, not so great.  I won't buy that again.  Now I'm relaxing and it feels great!

Good morning everybody!  It's raining here in Atlanta....AGAIN!  Ok, I know we had a drought and needed the rain, but that was last year.  I think we caught up already.  My front yard is still a lake from the last rain.  BUT, at least it isn't snow or ice... :2thumbsup;

Oh, Dan, I'm glad you are feeling better!

And woot that Des is back with us!

BUT, men! I have been telling Carl that he probably needed to contact his vascular surgeon because of the extensive post-treatment bleeding we have been seeing. (Actually had a minor gusher last night, too)

We faxed in our flow sheets this morning and I got an e-mail from the nurse saying that Carl needed to make an appointment to see the vascular surgeon. Huh! So when I told him, he started arguing! To his credit, he realized that he did NOT need to be arguing with me. He made to appointment....but it isn't until NEXT Wednesday. ARGH!

     Good day everyone  :waving;
     Wasn't to sure I could get on IHD this afternpon, from dialysis.  The "terminal" set up hete at my Frescenius clinic lets you get direct TV, internet, and music.  For some reason I could google IHD, to get to it, but I couldn't get here by clicking on it.  So, I finally tried another search engine and made it here. It's a complicaed mess, but I made and that is what counts.   :bandance;

      Aleta, hope the problem is not too bad till you get to see the   vascular surgeon.

      Des glad to see yo're back.  :2thumbsup;

Local docs did not find anything wrong, but can't explain amonia taste in mouth. They say my blood sugar is in the normal range, but it is high for me and why should it be high if I haven't eaten in a day or even from earlier that day. My blood sugar has never stayed above 100 since my transplant. It usually has been between 92 and 75 mg/dl. In other words I have to deal with the yahoo's in the city at my tx center.
