Alene and Rolando, it was such a pleasure meeting you both.  You are two of the happiest, most easy going people I have met.  Your smiles brighten the room.  Sounds like you had a good time with Chris at the comedy club.  I love hearing about your travels and adventures.  And Rolando's neice and nephew were so much fun. They fit right in and seemed to have a good time, too.  And the two little ones were precious.  So glad they could all be with us.   It was a really nice weekend.

I think regional meetings would be worth considering again, Lee. There just aren't a lot of active members in our area. Maybe Cincinnati, St.Louis, or Nashville.

YES! :bandance;

I would go to any of those cities.  Lived in St.Louis and still have friends there.  The river area is great.  Cinncinnati would be good, too.  Another river city that is nice.  I love Nashville and we seem to have a lot of NC and Tennesee memebers.   Heck, I will go just about anywhere there is a party. :rofl;

ahh..i went past sleep inn the other day, I smiled.  I went past the mental health center, I laughed.  Today I went to the cracker barrel (since my boyfriend and his parents picked me up cause my car broke down in the school parking lot), and I smiled again!

This is the first time I have seen this post, I have no idea how I missed it....

It was amazing to see members of IHD, you all look like you have a great time.  Seeing Flip was awesome also, I miss him and his posts...

One of these days I want to go to one of these, and if I say it enough , it will come true!

Oh my goodness!   How long does it take to drive the long way from the hotel to Cracker Barrel?  Strange thing, on the way back it only took two minutes!  It makes me laugh just to think about it!   That was a really good night.   :grouphug;

The restaurant was just on a windy road connected to all the hotels.  We went down the main road.  I go where we turned around all the time for lunch and laugh at how much harder we really made the situation!

I'm planning on my next phone to have one that is low vision compatible, but the software cost $400 extra on top of a $400 phone with a screen reader and magnifyer. It'll be worth it though.

Heck, I got the insurance plan from AT&T, maybe I should just drop mine from the Hanncock building  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl; Unfortunately I don't think they'll give me much for a Sony Ericsson W580i phone.  :rofl;

I"ve been thinking about our Chicago meet up a lot the past three days.  A lot has changed in a year.  We lost Flip.  Jess got a new kidney!  Patton is in boot camp.  Sluff is on the road again.  Me, I am just a year older  :rofl;   Lots of good memories of a great time with friends.
