Susie, Just saw this thread. Prayers for a quick recovery tomorrow from your surgery. What Rolando said about the wound vac. I never had one but had to change dressings on them on the job. They can be a bit tricky to get a good seal but really do help with healing wounds faster. Best wishes for your surgery.

Susie, been at the transplant center all day so haven't been able to post sooner. You are so loved by everyone here. I am glad they can do surgery, but I hate that you have to go through this. Lots of prayers and love for you and for Sam. I know he will be nervous tomorrow, too. Take care and when you are sad or scared, remember we are all here for you and will be looking forward to knowing you are healing and better. Love you, sweetie

In about 2 hours Susie will be arriving to the hospital and around 7:30am Pacific time they will start surgery. So good luck Susie.

I just spoke with Susie's mom - she is in a room now, feeling groggy but she's ok. I will check in later tonight with her mom, but for now all looks good.
