Here in Dallas there are several:Snuffer's - great burger and loaded cheese friesJakesWhen I lived in Ohio, White Castle was the best after a night on the town. Living in Texas I now have to settle for the frozen. We do have one our two Krystal's, same kind of burger as White Castle but for some reason I like White Castle's better. The next day stinks though and I'm not talking about being hung over. TMI
If you're ever in the North Bay of California (also known as the Wine Country) first off, come say hi! Then I'll take you to the most amazing burger joint north of the Golden Gate...Mike's One Burger in Cotati. For the last five years, this location has won the Best Burger Joint in the local independent paper's reader survey. Be warned, they don't serve french fries (I know, what a travesty) but their menu explains why.Every time I have a guest and they're in the mood for some good protein, I take them there.Oh yeah, and the waitresses are gorgeous.
never saw this one beforethe best burger is the one my husband grills( now that he is not reading over my shoulder; the best burger is Burger King --Whopper)

As usual, I continue to make my burgers (vegetarian) at home. Recently I discovered Fry's Vegetarian Burgers. They come in a pack of about 8 or 10 or something, in the frozen section of the supermarket. They're not full of good ingredients or anything - mainly just wheat gluten, like a lot of other vegetarian "substitute" products, but I do like them fried up real well and put on my burger with cheese, egg, tomato, onion and mustard. mmmmmmm.
I still believe you need the egg and cheese to cover up that awful tasting (my experience) veggie burgertaste, which wouldn't make it a true veggie burger?
I am sorry but, veggie burgers are disgusting. It ain't a burger less it is ground sirlion with cheese and fried onions and the bun is spread with butter and toasted lightly...Boxman
