I have a blog where I talk less about myself and more about things that impact the provision of dialysis. I've done it for just three months. I've managed to post a couple times a day, while other blogs may post after every treatment, once a week or sporadically; because you are not sure when they will have new content it is easy to loose track of them. To make it easier to track what's going on on Dialysis and CKD blogs I post Dialysis and CKD Blog Report every few days. These posts include links to blogs that have posted since the last Blog Report, my brief summary of the post subject and sometimes parenthetically in italics a comment from me.

Here is a link to my most recent Dialysis and CKD Blog Report http://www.billpeckham.com/from_the_sharp_end_of_the/2008/03/dialysis-and--5.html
there are about 18 blogs that have recent posts, posts since the previous blog report on the 26th, these all have posts in the last 3 days.

On the list are blogs written by people on dialysis, living with a transplant, just getting a fistula placed, people doing well, people doing not so well, caregiver spouses and caregiver parents. If you look back at all the blogs that have posted in the last month it is an amazing diversity of CKD experience.

On most blogs each post has a topic or category assigned to it. All my Dialysis and CKD Blog Reports are in the the Dialysis and CKD Blog Report category. If you click on the category at the bottom of the post or on the category in the list along the right side of the page you'll go here http://www.billpeckham.com/from_the_sharp_end_of_the/dialysis_ckd_blog_report/index.html

This is a list of all my Blog Reports back to the first one on January 1st of this year, scroll through the list and you can see blogs that post infrequently. Click a few links. When you read a blog it encourages the writer to keep blogging. If you like the blog you can encourage the blogger even more by leaving comments. Sometimes a discussion can go on for weeks after the blog post in the comments section.

I keep finding new blogs all the time - if you are blogging or know of a CKD related blog (even if CKD is the topic only occasionally) let me know and I can start to track it. I currently check in on 50 or so blogs for the Blog Reports - some have not posted this year but I continue to check.

If you are interested in blog posts on only certain topics remember to use the 'category' (or 'topic', or 'subject', or just 'tag') tag to narrow the posts to the ones that you might want to read.
