I know that A (AKPA) used to arrange get togethers and occasional trips for the dialysis patients and those from the satellite units. At least, that was the impression I got but I could be wrong.

This Saturday is the Illinois chapter of the National Kidney Foundation's annual Living with Kidney Disease all day seminar. I've gone two years in a row and am going again this year. It will be nice to be able to stand up as a transplant recipient at the opening reception. It used to be called Living With Transplantation but apparently now only the kidney folks are invited. Hmm.....
