You bad mouth my bible when you say it was written by a bunch of people gazing at the stars. It was actually written by people who were there when it happened and they are eye witnesses. As far as you being in a state of not having a conscious mind, don't you realize that you are? Don't you understand that as the toxins remain in your body you get sicker and sicker and are LESS YOURSELF?? Most people know and, so do I, that you have had more surgeries than a kid like you should have and you have been thru more than most your age. The fact that you are ill does not give you license to knock down other people beliefs and no one has the right to knock down yours. A little gentle persuasion is needed for you, and in the mean time, think about what you are saying, especially to Hemodoc. He is a tad on the gabby side, but he is a good solid Christian. Maybe if you let it sit long enough you will understand what he is trying to tell you. No "putting you down or trying to make you feel childish is intended". Oh, and BTW, I have raised 10 children, so I know what teenagers are like and I lived thru it all.
Because right now, he's just an arrogant preacher to me who wants me to follow the 'word of God'.

...but glad to answer questions if he or others are ever interested.

Because right now, he's just an arrogant preacher to me who wants me to follow the 'word of God'.Not at all my young friend. My son is an agnostic but unlike some, he is open to hearing of "the hope that resides within me." I just gave him a mini sermonette on Jesus going down the road to Emmaus. Two men were walking and pondering the events of the last three days beginning with the crucifixion of the Lord and then that morning, His resurrection. As they were wishing to see Jesus again, Jesus approached but hid His countenance from them. Jesus asked why they were sad and they responded because of all of the events and was He the only stranger in town that did not know of them. Here is the response from Jesus Himself:Luke 24:25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. My young friend, that is indeed how I became a Christian, by reading, studying and understanding the Holy Scriptures through the study of Bible prophecy. That is indeed the proof you ask me for. If you wish to know, God has already provided the answers in His Holy Bible and that is ONE of the many reasons Christians are offended when you denigrate His Holy word. But it is up to you to seek and look on your own. I cannot do that for you, but I can tell you where to find it just as Jesus did on the road to Emmaus. If you are not interested, just move on my friend. No harm done. The Bible is freely given and freely received. You are free to reject it in like fashion, your choice and no one else. I certainly do not in any manner force anything upon you or anyone else, but if ever interested, send me a pm at any time and I will gladly show you where you can find many of the answers to your questions. If not, I have offered and that is enough. Now, if you wish to go around provoking folks for no reason, you will truly have a tough road ahead of you at your own hand. I would advise otherwise.
Nope, young man, you have the wrong preacher and the wrong book. Sorry, not Allah. I talk about the LORD God Almighty of Israel. In any case, if you are not interested, so be it. Have a great day.

Allah=God? um, no sir it does not. Is it your illness that has made you so angry at the one true God? If so, again, maybe a transplant will bring you around to being a gentler and quieter person. I know you are young, and I guess what I am trying to tell you is, don't make up your mind so early in life. You are only 16 and yes, you are smart and talented and I hope you succeed at whatever you attempt to do. No bad will is meant for you but as for Hemodoc, Rerun and I, we are older, perhaps wiser and have lived thru all of this mess. And, you have not. I know you cant see it, but we are all trying to help you not fight you.
Rerun, I hope you know that I'm very fond of you but why would you want to say something like "Mohamed sucks so blow me up." I believe that it really isn't too hard to respect others who may have faiths different than ours. People born into Muslim cultures tend to be Muslims, in the same way that many Christians are born to parents of that faith. Mohammed is important to Muslims as Jesus is to Christians. The Koran is central to Muslim belief as the Bible is to Christian belief. Extremist Muslims who blow things up are not the majority and hopefully the "christians" of the Westboro Baptist Church aren't either. I don't understand why we/you would need to be so insulting towards others. Jesus is a respected prophet in the Koran and Christians are respected as "people of the Book". Your disrespectful comment would not encourage fellow dialysis patients to feel comfortable here, just as ignorant comments about people who have a strong Christian faith are not particularly tolerant either. I am left scratching my head.Respectfully sending you a hug.
What about Allah is it that you can hear, see, or touch???
iKAZ3D, "Live and let live" is easier said than done. Most young people I've encountered truly cannot live by those words because the opinion of their peers is so important to them. Most people like to have rules and guidelines, otherwise there'd be chaos. If you really believed in the concept of "live and let live", you wouldn't have been so offended by either Jesse or Hemodoc. For many people, their faith helps to give their lives some modicum of order. In your own life, what gives you peace, comfort and order?
“iKAZ3D” I would drop this thread if I were you, or get back to the original thought behind this thread before you hijacked it.
