Aww, shucks guys < best fake American accent EVER.  But if you knew what I'd been mumbling under my breath about some of you ... gosh, would your cheeks turn bright pink ... !  *giggle*

So, I only have TWO people left to hear from regarding the sending of gifts!

 :yahoo;

I shouldn't really be pleased about that, I should still be angry and very disappointed, which I am but I'm also happy.

So, to date, confirmed (Tuesday 11th December 22.49 GMT):

33 of 35 packages posted
22 of 35 packages received

Am off to fire a nagging message at the two remaining slackers and then cuddle up in bed ready for another long day at work tomorrow.  Wishing it was Christmas already!

 :santahat;

PS: Occasionally people just let me know by PM that their gifts have arrived.  I'm sorry that I haven't got round to letting their SS's know. If you're unsure your gift has arrived and you can't see a post on the thread from your recipient feel free to PM me and I'll let you know.

Santa hasn't been seen at my place yet.  Maybe he's got heat exhaustion like the rest of us.

If I had posted my likes this year, it would have read something like this --- lump of coal, rotten fruit, cloudy days, dead flowers.    So hopefully my SS understood and just used their imagination!

Thanks Poppy!  We know this is a big job.  You're an angel!!

Update:

33 of 35 packages posted (still to hear from two people, which is highly annoying and very disappointing and a more than a little bit discourteous to both their recipients and their Secret Santas)
26 of 35 packages received (WooHoo)

Don't forget to let me know! Thirty seconds spent logging on and sending me a PM/posting on the thread is the nicest thing you could possibly do, not just for me but for your SSs so that they know their gifts have arrived.

I think that moving forward if and when you sign up for future Secret Santa's you MUST include a home or cell phone number JIC.  People sometimes don't or can't check PM's or emails.

I don't know.. they log in enough to sign up for the exchange.. they should be able to log in long enough to say "I forgot" or "I've been sick and couldn't send anything."  Even if they just posted something on facebook.. most of us here are friends with others from here on facebook.. I can think of 5 that I talk to regularly, but I'm sure there are more

Have they been on here period? maybe something has happened to them?
If they have been on, and are just not saying anything, that is pretty shady. But if they havent id be worried something has happened.

My cat attacked the bow on my SS gift - he just went kind of crazy. The paper didn't rip so I could not use it as an excuse to take a peek!  :P

My Secret Santa package has apparently arrived in Sydney, but customs is not letting it through as it is marked "Gift" and is therefore obviously drugs or something.  My Secret Santa is going to get a call from Customs or the shipper and is going to have to explain himself/herself.  But at least it made it to Australia - now another 900kms to go.

 :rofl;   :rofl;   :rofl;

I often send packages marked "Gift" to Australia and never have a problem. That's pretty strange!

I suggested they open it for inspection or x-ray it, but, no they need to know what's in it.  It think they must be being picky for Christmas.

Thank God that wasn't my package!... I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't have a clue what was in the boxes I sent!... I've TOTALLY forgotten!....

Now, who's the freaking wise guy???... Who sent my mum a box marked 'Fruit and Nut Company'???... LOL!!!!.... I've an Anapen right alongside it... Just in case!....  :rofl; ... Wouldn't be the first time somebody from IHD tried to kill me... Right Paris???... Right Del???....  :rofl; ...Anyway, whoever you are, thank you very much from the mum... Much appreciated!.... It'll be opened on Christmas Day....

Love to all...
