Diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease at age 19.
Renal Failure at age 38 (2010) came about 2 hrs close to dying. Central line put in an emergency.
Began dialysis on Aug 15, 2010.
Creatine @ time of dialysis: 27. I almost died.
History of High Blood Pressure
I have Neuropathy and Plantar Fasciitis in My Feet
AV Fistula created in Nov. 2011, still buzzing well!
Transplanted in April, 2013. My husband and I participated in the Living Donor paired exchange program. I nicknamed my kidney "April"
Married 18 yrs,  Mom to 3 kids to twin daughters (One that has PKD)  and a high-functioning Autistic son

Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.

29 of 35 packages posted
19 of 35 packages received

Parcels are slowly trickling in to their rightful owners! 

I'm still waiting for confirmation of visits to Post Offices from SIX people!  SIX, and this is two weeks after the cut-off date. 

There are no emoticons which fully express my angry face.  Instead I shall just be sad. And very disappointed.

After a hard fight to not start I started dialysis 9/13
started on PD
hoping for home hemo starting to build a fistula 1/14
cause PKD diagnosed age 14

Wife to Ed (who started dialysis 1/12 and got his kidney 10/13)
Mother to Gehlan 18, Alison 16, Jonathan 12, and Evalynn 7. All still at home.

Some gifts are coming from far away, UK, Australia, etc, so hopefully one of those is yours!  :2thumbsup;

I opened the shipping box (Poppy said I could) and there's the most beautiful giftwrap and ribbon! Now we just need a tree to put it under!  :christmastree; Can't wait!

I learned a valuable lesson today. Never shop online ( i love ebay), and have the SS at the same time. HA I was feeling around trying to figure out if it was my SS gift or something I bought. I couldnt tell, so I had my bf peek for me, and it was his gift.... smooooooooooooth

still havent gotten mine, i hope my person has gotten theirs... I havent seen a post about it.

Got my gift and saw that it was received as well... Super stoked about  mine , all the way from Australia... Hubby forgot and almost opened it, luckily I caught him and put it uner the tree and my kitty doesn't think anything should be under there other than him. He keeps looking at it and giving me wvil eyes, might have to put it up so he doesn't try to open it,
