I didm't do a single dog-gone thing for the 3 day in a row. I'll try to stay outside after D tomorrow. Its also amazing that my 79-1/3 year old dad can do 20 times what I do in a single day...depressing thought. :(

texasstyle - if the cider or juice isn't flash-heated to kill bacteria (aka pasturized), it's a higher risk for those on immunosuppresants.  If you are getting it in a store, the odds are pretty good it was.  Farmer's markets - not so much.

Yesterday I did nothing. The weather was just to nasty and gloomy. I got home from D and feel better than all of last week so as soon as DH gets them cut up I am going to roast the seeds and cook the pumpkin for pies and bread. We gave away all but 2 pumpkins and they both weigh about 50 lbs. I love pumpkin!

Worked for a few hours but am losing focus due to the house shaking violently and the droning noise of the wind.

That's the extent of it so far....

I took the two week off work order to work and avoided talking to anyone there, except the secretary.

Texasstyle,  Jbeany said it perfect!  You also need to avoid local made cheeses, soft cheeses from other countries.   I was very relieved to read the label on my cider that said it was pasturized.   I wouldn't buy any juices made and packaged without labeling.   It is so easy to overlook some of these "rules'.

Nothing much got done today.  I did make a slow cooked dinner -- that is it.

I walked up to the mailbox, took me 23 minutes, but I'm starting to think there's something wrong with my hip, because it and my back is always so sore when I've finished the walk.

I also screwed around with the Wii again, trying to get videos to work.  I may have to watch the Rally to Restore Sanity/March to Keep Fear Alive on the computer instead of the tv

I felt pretty good today (even though I slept in later than I meant to) so after my coffee I washed my sheets and a blanket that has a lint problem (but the cats love it!). Then I cooked some rice and cut up some vegetables to eat with the larb (Thai salad with ground chicken) that I made yesterday, and since I bought way too many red Thai chiles, I put some in the convection oven to dry. I also watered my plants.

This is productive for me. My dad emailed me, trying to get us together sometime soon. It's been almost 3 months. He asked if anything was new... I couldn't think of anything. I hate standing still.  >:(

It smells like chiles in here because now I have the half-dried Thai chiles sitting on top of the fan vent on my computer to finish drying.  ;D

On the advice of the cardiologist, I went for a walk to-day. Did 10 minutes without collapsing.

My walk today was 23 minutes long.. I time it to see if I'm getting any faster.. *L*  the first 15 minutes or so are uphill, and by the time I get to the top, I feel like I'm ready to collapse, but I keep going somehow.  I'm kinda secretly hoping that the next place we live is on a level street.. *L*

I watched the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear on my computer, missing only the part of one song to get my hair washed.  My best friend was in the crowd.  She said it was a blast.  I wish I could have gone, but there was no way I could afford a trip to DC.

The second the rally was over, we were out the door, to the mall to sell raffle tickets for the Kidney Foundation.  Sold 9 tickets in an hour and a half.  That's $60.  There was also a donation bucket.  People going by kept dropping 5 dollar bills in it.  I was amazed.  I didn't enjoy being winked at by the old guys, though.  Malls are weird.

I awoke to the dog barking; and my housekeeper, who did not have her keys today, at my door. I let her in and got the dog to shut-up! Then I went back to sleep. I was up around the house.  Went to lunch with friends and to the Goodwill Thrift Store. Wore myself out.  Home. On computer. Watched How Train a Dragon.

Still on my insane mission to clean the house, so today I did the top half of the china cabinet. The top half only, and then had to take a nap. Why do I keep these dust collectors anyways?

I rode my pushbike to the woolshed and back with three of our dogs to check on the pony that has eaten too much and become overfat - it was a bit muddy as we have had MORE rain (wonderful, wonderful rain after ten years of drought!) I am trying to get fitter and lower my resting heart as it sits at around 90, always has.
