all I did today was my walk.  I did it in 24 minutes. I'm getting faster.  I wasn't as winded when I got to the top of the hill either, so it's doing me some good.  I am hoping that I'll eventually be able to do it without being winded at all.

That's brilliant!  I took to walking from work to town every day about a year ago (it's about a mile) because I realised that a) it would probably be as quick as standing at a bus stop waiting for a bus which then had to go round all the houses, and b) it would make me fitter.  At first it was a struggle, but now I do it without thinking, and often wonder why I used to have such a thing against walking! Well done you!

My Today Achievements: Phoned up the living donor coordinator and she told me I could donate a kidney to Blokey.  WooHoo!  I also spent lots of money on buying food as tomorrow it's our 4th wedding anniversary and I thought it was time to dust off and use the cutlery and Royal Doulton we received as wedding presents!

Happy Anniversary, one day early!  Pull out all the good china and enjoy your day.

I have accomplished nothing today and don't think I will!  Yesterday was a little draining, so I am just taking it easy today.   And I am OK with that!   :rofl;

Odd, since I had the angiogram and the Dr. told me my heart is doing well, I am loaded with energy. So, today I cleaned the bathroom top to bottom, boy do my bedroom and bathroom look and smell nice now. Unfortunately I still have the rest of the house to clean. Seems like I work like a maniac one day and goof off the next. That's okay tho, that is twice what I used to do.

Spent some time sitting in the porch. I just came after a nice evening listening to last remnants of summer, the sound of crickets and frogs in the field on the side of the house. I also loved hearing the sound of a distant train blowing their horn as it heads towards S.A.

I did my walk.  23 minutes today, but that's estimated, cuz as I was going up the road, my cat tripped me, twice. *L*

Lil Bro wanted a new phone, so we went out tonight, and we got him a Blackberry and added it to my plan.  It's a newer version of mine, but I like mine lots better.

We have to go to Gander today (That's the town in Newfoundland where a LOT of the planes had to land during 9/11)  Hubby has an appt with the eye doctor.  We are leaving early enough(it's a 2 hour drive) to do some shopping. The weather is not nice but it is supposed to clear.  It is raining (thundershowers) and we even had thunder and lightning this morning!!  Wil have to take our time driving because there will be lots of water on the road.

We went to the Farmer's Market.  Bought some plants, cider (yes it is pasturized) apples and enjoyed the sun shine, the fruits and veggies.  Wanted to go to a couple more places, but I was tired, so we came home.     I am so used to touching all the produce, plants, etc. that I had to be aware of my hands.  And before, I would have never looked to see if something was pasturized---lots of new things to remember!

We are driving down to Cahokia this evening for a weekend of archeological history.  I had no idea that there is a World Heritage site in southern Illinois.  So in prep for the trip, I'm getting all of the laundry done and cleaning house as I hate the idea of coming home to a dirty house.

I just turned in my picks for this weekend's NFL action.

Not sure if I should thank the person who sent me the ambition, or apologize to the person I stole it from.  The house is vacuumed, the cat pan is changed, the trash is out, the bathroom is clean, the laundry is done, and I've done the reading for Monday's class.  I've even done a bunch of organizing for assorted assignments, and researched some legal terms to make sure I understood them.

Now, if I could just find the answer to the one burning question I have for the day, I'd be good.  I want to know how come my cat isn't bald, when she sheds at least a pound of hair a week.  (Those clear cup, bagless vacs are kind of scary, aren't they?)

I went to dialysis today.. made some real fun of my nurses.. I love doing that.. *L*

I also setup Bro's favorite 5 for his phone, and while doing that, realized that I'm paying $25 a month for a service that I never ever use, so I think I'll call Customer Service in the morning and see if I can have it taken off

I cleaned up after my bro-in-law's 60th birthday party that we hosted. We all had a lovely night and b-i-l enjoyed himself and has only just left. I had lots of helpers so it wasn't a big job at all

I raked a few leaves.  I made a lamb curry.  Other than that, no, nothing, nada, rien.

In a word, no...

I couldn't sleep last night, my legs were killing me.. the dampness and change of season have always bothered them, and I didn't get up until around 3:30pm, and by then, it's getting dark, so I didn't go for my walk.  I did call to get transportation to the polling station for the advanced poll on Friday, though.  I figured Friday would be better than Monday.  It's less crowded.

Paris, what's with the pasturized part of the cider? You can't drink that either? Hubby been drinking a lot of it lately. Ut-oh.
