I raked leaves.

I unpacked from our long weekend away.

I emptied the dishwasher.

I read the first chapter of Tony Blair's autobiography.

That's really about all I've had the energy for today.  I didn't fall asleep last night until 3AM, so I'm dragging today.

I feel like such a dork next to you guys.....

I went to dialysis and watched CNN.. I feel asleep at one point and dreamt that my venous needle fell out and I couldn't get anyone's attention.. I have really odd dreams when I'm at dialysis.

Tomorrow I'll do my walk, and I'm thinking of going through my crap and seeing if I can find a book I bought in December.  I started reading it one night and set it down to go to bed, and I haven't seen it since.

Spent time on telephone helping to organise brother-in-law's 60th birthday party, had a good long read of a good book - a mystery/thriller where the central character is very confused as to her identity and people are trying to kill her - and then went and held our pony whose feet are overgrown while hubby trimmed them back. And all the time the pony is pulling away from me I am trying to hold tight LIGHTLY as I was told yesterday not to lift anything over a kilo!!! The pony weighs a bit more than that

Went to have labs drawn.  Argued with the new tech because she wondered why I was there. Told her that I had orders (which she was holding).  But you were just here the 11th, she exclaimed.  Yep and I will  be back on Monday, then Thursday, Monday again, etc.  What part of the lab order couldn't she understand?  Thankfully, my regular tech, Robert, stepped in and took over.  I don't deal with inefficient people early in the morning!

Decided on a bathtub for my bathroom reno  (I'm so tired of my indecision that I almost let a stranger flip a coin) AND I put out 6 huge paper yard waste bags with garden waste from fall cutting back of perennials.
Monrein, how do you handle gardening, digging in the soil, planting, etc?  I want to do the fall work outside so bad, but they still say no digging, working in the dirt.   How long did you have to wait?   I have bulbs that need to be seperated, etc  and no one is going to do it for me!

Took my mom driving to day to do some running around(she was feeling lightheaded). We went to Walmart, take some clothes she needed fixed to the seamstress, check to see the prices on wi-fi usb connections and HEB(supermarket).
I got to meet America and she works at Walmart(her real name is America) ;D

emailed Pictou County Tourism Association to see if they could help us get a cheaper hotel room this weekend.

Threw out my Tim Horton's Iced Cappuccino cup collection.  56 cups, in a stack, with the straws.  It had to go, it was starting to look like the leaning tower of Pisa.

Walked up to the mailbox. Got a coupon for free bacon. Yay!

Fiddled around with my Wii, trying to get CSPAN video to work, so I could watch the Rally for Sanity/March to Keep Fear Alive at the end of the month, but could only get Youtube videos to work.  Not happy.

Went to Wal Mart and did grocery shopping. With the sore foot and the fatigue, it took nearly an hour and a half. Love the newer Wal Mart tho, prices are great and it is cutting about $20.00 a week off my grocery bill. Tomorrow, another bathroom to be cleaned and maybe even the kitchen!!

I refrained from telling an evil (and no doubt stoned) student what I really think of him.  Then I had a good old grumbling-gossip (the sort that puts the world to rights) with my colleague as he drove me home from work.  Now I'm spending the evening alone with my pussycats whilst Blokey enjoys his dialysis session.

Yay! 'Tis the weekend!

We got up about 6 a.m and went moose hunting. Didn't see any moose so came back home and packed the last of the woodpile in the wood shed.  Cooked supper and then went outside and had a fire in the outside fireplace.   I bought some beets yesterday so I boiled them tonight, cut them up and put them in bottles with a vinegar solution.   It was a busy day and I am very tired now.

Went to PT, but they cancelled it because I didn't look good and my blood sugar dropped and did not go up much even after eating more food and candy. They wanted me to go to the hospital or have someone come pick me up, but niether was a good option. So I sat around for a bit and at my stash of granola bars I keep in my truck and then went home and fell asleep for awhile at first. Got up made a couple calls, cleaned the kitchen and went back to sleep till 10 pm. I hink it is due to a new med for arthritis that is messing me up on top of what I am trying to get use to with other recent med changes.

Sunday I plan to accomplish something due to doctor visits on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Do you know what they're worried about? I've read (but haven't asked specifically) that after a transplant you can still garden, as long as you wash your hands well afterward.

You should be safe wearing thick gloves (to prevent getting poked), long sleeves, and a filter mask (to avoid breathing in spores), but then just about anything is safe in a hazmat suit. :rofl;

After thinking today would be horrid (I overslept by twenty minutes), I had a pleasant morning at work, printing off and cutting out poppies for my new reading display (which will tie in with Remembrance Day). I was then attacked by an over-zealous apple on the bus on the way home, which made a couple of old folk laugh.

It took me over 6 hours, but, finally, I cleaned our entire bedroom, top to bottom, ceiling fan, clean drapes, washed all the bedding, the rugs. vacuumed., cleaned the glass doors, washed all the doilies and polished all the furniture. Probably wont have enough energy left now to do anything for the rest of the week. !!!

I di ::)d some filing, but I didn't do anything else.  The weather has been glorious, but lately I just can't find the energy to get out for my daily walk.  I'm really going to have to get some exercise.

Oh, I did manage to swiffer my floors.  Such domestic excitement, I can't stand it.

I managed to have a semi-allergic (or maybe I just left something on too long - I really should follow instructions) reaction and it will give the Blokey a good chuckle when he gets home from work.

Oh, and my poppies are now on display.

While my mom was getting stitches out of her at the doctor's office I was at the podiatrist getting my monthly foot checkup. Since I was her last patient I had a long talk with her about the status of health care in our town. She told me of all the infighting at the hospital and how her 10 year old daughter was doing on chemo, she has leukemia. We also talk some religion, It was good to talk to her, its too bad I won;t see her until December.
