I survived today - that's my positive!  4 hours dialysis treatment + 4 hours with a hyper 7 yr old = one tired beany!  I managed without my usual nap, and still managed to get dinner fixed for all my company.  And now, I'm positively ready for bed.

Daughter Becca was nominated by her art teacher for a Congressional Art Competition - she didn't win (60 entrants!) but got a fabulous certificate with a congressional seal - pretty cool!

What painting was it?
It was one I had never seen before called "Lunch" - I will post a photo later.  :waving;

My positive is actually for this weekend. It was a beautiful 85 degrees this weekend and I got a bunch of seeds planted outside, plus some in starter flats inside. I got the house cleaned, cooked BBQ ribs on our grill, weeded and fertilized all of my flower beds and got the laundry done! It was a great weekend!

I made it through the four periods with my 6th graders and did not time anyone out or really give anyone a hollering at.  I was happy to see my 7th graders 3rd period.

If I had a pool I wouldn't have to swim in the street, Twirl.

Yea, Tennesse is getting wet tomorrow...

Thanks Rose.  My positives for today are huge little things.  Slept in my own bed last night, made my own coffee this morning and am planning to figure out how to shower with a PICC line and IV pump today.

 :cuddle; for monrein and kitkat!

I'm proud of myself today.  I'm a complete phobic about dentists, but I called and made an appointment today.

Now all I need is a T-shirt with a "NO MINT" message on it to wear to the appointment - I'm allergic, and they always want to use something minty when I'm there!
