I'm starting to wonder if their grandfather was Maine Coon, though.

We're quite convinced that our darling (and still missing) Mog was either part Maine Coon or part Norwegian Tree Cat, not just because of his looks, but also because of his temprament and personality.  Oddly, Qyzen (who as you know is black with a smidgeon of white) has the same temprament and personality, plus a very bushy tail and big paws, so now I'm thinking he's either Mog reincarnated, or he also has some Maine Coon/Norwegian Tree Cat in him.

We have 8 cats and a dog.  Momma cat was born under our azalea bushes in our old house.  The rest of her litter disappeared....she decided she had had enough of living outside and came in one day, and that was that!  I thought she was getting bigger, but figured it was because she was was eating regularly...nope, I was wrong!  So now we have 5 big cats (think part Maine Coon) they're abut 20 lbs each, 3 little ones (about 8 lbs each) and a Beagle/bassett rescue that we got about 18 months ago....I couldn't make it without my furbabies!

I have three dachshunds,Mamma (15 ) and her two "babies" Squirmy and Kitch (both 9),one inside cat,and two outside (strays I took in as kittens someone dumped off).I have a hobby farm and also have about 70 chickens and two goats.They are all one of the main reasons I keep going,who would take care of my babies?

My baby boy is becoming a man tomorrow!  Or, he's not.  He's having his balls chopped off ... 

This means we have a night of him wondering why we don't love him anymore because he's Nil By Mouth as of two and a bit hours ago.  I expect he'll refrain from cuddles when he returns from the vet tomorrow afternoon (and getting a hungry kitten into his basket in the morning will probably be lots of fun!)

Poor little Qyzen.

Poppy, take some small thread and tie a piece of food  with it. Then use it to entice him into the carrier, just pull it fast enough so he does not eat it and pull it thru the carrier. So basically this takes some setting up by having a long enough thread running thru the carrier and long enough on the floor for him to gain interest.

Thanks Chris!  He was actually happy to go in his basket (I don't think he's yet grasped that basket most likely equals needles yet!  I'll definitely remember the food trick for the next time we need to get Dora in the basket though.

Qyzen is home and hyper.  Seems fine but is moaning about being hungry (the nurse suggested feeding him little and often rather than letting him eat lots in one go for the next 24 hours or so) and making me feel guilty, even though I've lovingly boiled him some chicken.  He can probably smell the beef I've got cooking in the slow cooker so that won't be helping either!  Poor thing.

We have 2 cats. The mama, Kiki, was a stray who gave birth in our dumpster. We got the kittens out and she carried them into our house and never left. She really adopted US. She had 4 kittens but only one, Tommy, survived. I bottle fed him from the day he was born. He's a nut. He is terrified of smiley face balloons and pictures of squirrels, yet he goes out and tortures and maims baby rabbits and other small creatures. I call him the Jeffrey Dahmer of the cat community. Really, though they are both good cats and I love them.

I'm just glad she only managed to make one color copy of herself.  She's walked across it before and occasionally made multiple copies of something in the scan bed, but I've usually been in the room to cancel it.  I'll be out of ink quickly if she manages multiple self-portraits!

I woke up tubthumping at 3 am.  Also used to describe the creation of the unidentified loud banging noise.  The cats were tubthumping in the living room.

I have a kitty cat named Jace. She's a Maine Coon, so she has a big fluffy tail and extra toes on all paws. Then I haver her son, Teddy, who also has a big fluffy tail and extra toes. Jace is tabby in color and Teddy looks Siamese with big baby blue eyes. He's a mean little bas... oh, uhm... he's adorable.  And when I left my apartment to move back to my mom's I had to leave my doggy, Artie, with my roomies. He's half corgi, half jack russel and a big ball of energy! Love that guy.

When my Reese died in October, I didn't think I'd want another kitty, but I stumbled upon Cleo while delivering Christmas presents.  She was so beautiful, I had to have her.  She's only a baby.  I haven't had a kitten in the house since 2003.  She's a handful, but she's cute, so she's worth it.. *G*

I'm not sure... she may have some Russian Blue in her.. her mom is gray and white striped, and her dad is all gray like she is.. her sister looks just like her mom
