I hate that soggy feeling when you reach the chewed bit. I never seems to knit up as easily.
The birthday hat is too cute.. *G*I can't wait to get my dog, but I'm holding off on sending in the application forms because I know that right now, I'm just not well enough to do the training. I think Cleo is happy with being the only non human in the house. *G*
This is the second school I've tried. The first one turned me down flat because I was a dialysis patient. A friend of mine got his dogs at the first school, before he was on dialysis. He's looking at getting a new dog, since his last one died a year ago. He had a fall through the winter, and is waiting for his leg to heal up more (he shattered his knee) before contacting the school. He's hoping that they'll come to him this time, since it will be his third dog.
I just have to tell you what my cat, Kiki, did. A few weeks back I was sound asleep and Kiki woke me by scratching on the bedroom door and yowling at the top of her little lungs. I figured she wanted to go out, but she ran down the hallway, came back, and ran down again like she wanted me to follow. I did and there was Frank, on the kitchen floor unconcious and convulsing from low blood sugar. She literally saved his life. And the worse part is Frank doesn't like her and constantly shoos her out of the house. She is so loving and intelligent. I've heard of dogs doing stuff like this, but not cats.
