Thank you for all the compliments everyone!

As far as the dogs go, they're more intimidating looking than they actually are intimidating.  Neither would do anything more than lick you to death....unless they perceived one of us was in harm.

Chaos is huge, but not as big as I'd hoped she'd get.  She's (lol) only about 32 inches at the shoulder and 120 pounds.  She's got more mastiff than dane in her.  She's one rock solid dog.  Her sister, who my babysitter has, is quite a bit taller but not nearly as solid.  She's a lot more Dane.

When my son was about 18 months old, my neighbor came over and held him for a minute.  She was holding him and talking to him, when Katie came around the house and saw that....she went up to the lady and put her front paws on the lady's chest, pushing her because she thought my baby was in harm's way.

My gram just got a new cat named Barney.  He's very cuddly and lovable, but he's 25 pounds of pure fur terror when he gets wound up.  His previous owners used to lock him in his cat carrier for a time out when he did something he wasn't supposed to do.  Now, when he misbehaves, he runs to his carrier, gets in and pulls the door shut on himself.  Hehehehehehe!
We need videos of that... :rofl;

She's just super waggy and excitable.  So when she gets going, it's a truly chaotic experience!

My puppy is on the way!!!!! My sister in law called earlier today a few hours after picking him up and said he's way cuter in person and he LOVES to cuddle.. and he's so small. They just left their house and are on the road, it's a 7/12-8hr driver, so tomorrow morning when i wake up, he will be here shortly after. I'm thrilled.  :yahoo;

He slept with me when he got here at 500am, until we woke up at 630. He then drank some water, and then I took him outside he peed and brought him back. He ate some food and then when it was time for my kids to go to the bus, we walked out there with them for his little short walk and hope to go stinky outside, it was snowing, so he wasn't liking that too much. We came back inside once the kids got on the bus and then he played with his toys for awhile, and drank some water and ate some food, now hes laying down and i'm about to take him back outside and try to go potty again before I put him in his crate for his nap. (He don't really like the crate yet.. but I guess that's normal.)

If you feed him, he will most likely poop within 20 minutes. The action of the digestion track gets their whole system moving and they feel the need to go.  BTW, he's so cute with those big, wide eyes!

Maybe he needs the clothes off his back to go :rofl;

Sometimes I had to leave my dog alone for him to go,  so leave him in the backyard and monitor him until he goes

Thanks everyone.  :grouphug;

I have some questions. Cody has not pooped since being here at 5:30am. He also has not pee'd alot, but today we had our first snow day, and got 4" and it snowed ALL day... he did not like going out there at all.. he couldn't stay out very long because he got so cold (hence the sweater on him).. but again, he hasn't even finished his food I put in his bowl this morning he just eats some bites here and there all day and that's it, and I had to be the one to put him in front of it or he wouldn't of even ate. Same with drinking, he didn't drink alot.. just some here and there when i put him there... and he didn't pee but 2 times out of all the times I took him out.

Is this normal? He's just had a long ride here, a new home... he's probably gotta get used to everyone/everything, right?

Nelly won't go if I stand there and watch her she seems to like to have her moment in privacy. And she too likes her jacket off to go her business. Cody won't get too cold in a couple of minutes, he will just learn to be fast!

Okay, I'll try tomorrow by letting him go without his jacket, and maybe just standing right there at the door watching him. See if its helps. Ty hun  :cuddle;
