As in Steve McQueen? For those of you old enough to remember him.

Yep I know who he is. You have to if you are a true car guy, it's required I swear to god it is. ;D
Not just for his car case scenes in movies, but his car and motorcycle collection.

angela, please don't use nail polish remover, it is too harsh for pets. Hope the color compliments the puppy. Sorry.

You might need to take him to the vet if he is not eating or drinking, it is posssible he is having a reaction to the paint on his skin. His skin is not breathing right if there is a lot of paint on his body. I am sure you know this though. The same thing would hapen to us if we are covered in latex. In the 1967 James Bond Movie The Man With The Golden Gun, this did happen to the actress in the opening scene.  But I doubt you pet is totally covered so he wouldn't be showing the same signs. I know there is a safe pet shampoo, but can't remember the name that would help. Not sure where paddbear is, but I am sure she would know.

I'm glad I don't have kids, I would be so mad right now that they did that and I would tell them to  :sir ken; so I can  :Kit n Stik; and then be hauled off to jail due to political correctness crap.  >:( :urcrazy;

If its just on his coat.. leave it alone or clip him yourself a bit..I would be at a loss as to what to do other than the emergency vet..

As far as my little guy.. that's exactly what Keith said.. it would go in his pocket before he would walk it.. although he thinks the little guy is just too precious!
I wonder if our little guy will be as precious as Willieand Winnies and MIbarra's..
Right now he sleeps a lot.. wakes up.. tinkles and eats.. goes back to sleeep.. you get the idea..
I did manage to get another pic of him.. thats him next to my cell phone on the computer chair

Mysty, where do you live? I need to steal that cutie!

Seriously though, be prepared for one tough attitude! My first Yorkie growls at me and pitches a fit if I try to kiss, hug, cuddle my husband. She barks and growls if I tell her to stay inside when I leave. She's Miss Priss in this house. My husband lets her get away with everything. My other is a male and he has this stuffed hippo that he is quite attached to. He will throw it down at your feet for you to toss so he can run after it. If you don't react, he'll pik it up and drop it ON your feet and growl at you until you throw it. If my female barks at me, he will start barking at her and "rough" her up to protect me!

I am going to get out my vet tech books to possibly see if there is something in there.
Also, at anytime was there paint on his nose near the nostrils? Eye and nose I are he concerns going by the pictures. The paint does not look to bad and will wear off with time. You just do not want to over clean the dog, that can dry his skin out, affect his fur

None in or on his nose, a little by his left eye but not in it thank god. I won't give him a bath again tonight then and he does have an appt for a hair cut on the 5th, so whatever drops are on the body will be removed that way, but the facial will, as you said, have to wear off with time.. I am thinking he is not eating or drinking due to the trauma of the scare of what  happened and so forth, like when he first rode 8hrs to come to a new home he didn't eat or drink for 2 days... at least I hope it's that. Thanks for helping me by looking up some info.  :cuddle;

Update The emergency vet called back, I finally found his number, and he said he will be fine, and is probably not eating due to the trauma of being held there and having stuff put on him. He also most likely licked alot of it off at the time of it being put on, and before it dried, and that's probably upset his stomach. (He did throw up this morning) He told me to give him ice cubes and a little pepto bismol and if he still doesn't eat by tomorrow night bring him in the following day.

Could not find anything specific, but if you haven't done this already, flush the eye out with water or eye wash solution. If you have a dropper, that would be better to use and easier on the dog who is already been terrorized.

No, it happened yesterday morning before anyone was awake.

Cody is fine now, even some of the color came off his face today, and he woke up to drinking tons of water and eating and even chewing on his bone again. So all is good.

Not sure what that comment was about mentioning going to jail, but kids are kids and they are curious and in the process things happen that aren't right, and that is how we learn right from wrong sometimes while growing up.
