Tsk, tsk, tsk. This is not the way to inspire a sense of community. If we can't talk things out, what good is the message board?
I think that after a matter has been fully threshed out, and it is one that is not helpful to newcomers or those who need this website, then it can be put away. It will probably not be deleted, but just stored away nicely.
I think that after a matter has been fully thrashed out, and it is one that is not helpful to newcomers or those who really need this website, then it can be put away. It will not be deleted, but just stored away nicely. And that is what has been done. No post is deleted. It is much more helpful to our sense of community that we promote things that are helpful. Most of those things were nothing to do with dialysis, or helping those on dialysis. We must not lose our focus and allow other (minor) things to take over our emphasis. Also, the same things were being said over and over and over ad nauseum.
Guess these guys waiting for a showdown will have to defer the popcorn until some other time, huh?
My view is that the only one to delete a thread is the one who started it, barring spam etc. etc.

I don't really feel I am "making a big deal" of it. If Angie/Sandmansa agreed for the post to be deleted (or "archived" - basically same thing since it's not out in the open) then that's their choice and I don't have a problem with it. I was not aware they had asked for that to happen. It wasn't announced as far as I can tell. So fine, that part of the matter is over, dropped.I am, however, still waiting to see what it is that I'm not capable of understanding.
Well I talked to sandmansa on the phone and we worked out our differences, I don't want our flame war to discourage new members from joining, I hope you understand.
I say," let sleeping dogs lay"...Leave them where they are, in the history files.
I fell asleep and Kitkatz ate my popcorn! Damn!
