I am just so honored to be part of this family.
I am, too, MyssAnne. I'll stick my neck out enough to say I THINK GOOFYNINA WOULD BE PROUD OF ALL OF US -- for pulling together, for leaning on each other, for still finding a laugh or two in the midst of all this sadness.

Thanks Paris for sharing with us. It sounds like it was a beautiful service. It is wonderful that you were able to make the trip there. Carol and Vandie I'm glad that you also got to attend.

I forgot to write that when we were leaving Susie's town is was lunch time. My husband asked what I wanted to eat, knowing I never have a preverence because nothing tastes that good anymore. All of a sudden, I spotted an In and Out!! I want that! My husband looked surprised because I never eat hamburgers. They were Susie's favorite and I enjoyed every single delicious bite of that burger. I ate every last morsel, licked my fingers with the yummy drippy sauce and knew Susie was laughing at me.

Good girl, Paris. You can't come to Cali and not have an In n Out burger.

When the Buckeyes play the championship game in Arizona the big talk (besides the game) is the In and Out Burger. They say it's their favorite and talk about how wonderful it is.

Guess what? In'N'Out Burger has spread east to Arizona and . . . . . LAS VEGAS !!!! The next time there's an IHD meet-up in Vegas, it really must include an In'N'Out meal in Susie's honor.
I keep hoping that InO will come just a little farther east to NM, but don't know if that's going to happen. T'would be heavenly, tho!

Vandie looks great! She is such a sweet soul; very compassionate and caring. We need to show her to the world as the poster child for transplants. She is the proof of how well transplants can work. I know she was tired from the trip and I don't know how she made the 4-5 hour trip back and then go to work the next morning! That was a lot of time traveling in one day. I loved her from the moment I met her.

Goofynina's heart would be made glad with all the love outpoured at the time of her passing. This is what she was about, and what she wanted IHD to be about. The love the IHD members have for each other is just awesome!

He said up and down. He sounded good though. Yeah Sluff, please let Sam know we are thinking of him.
I will. I sent him the link to Susie's memorial site in hopes that he approves. He told me we would keep in touch.
