This was posted an hour ago on the facebook for Katonsdad (Kevin) -
It is with a heavy heart that I'm on Kevin's face book page. I do not know all of you that he is friends with and you may not know me. I'm Kevin Janke sister Sandy Janke Cram. His wife Susan Janke and the rest of the family our very sadden by the passing of Kevin this morning May 15th, 2012. We would like to thank all of you for being a special person in his life. Some of you he has known scene grade school and some of you more recently from his sons grade school. We take great comfort in knowing that Kevin is now Hanging with Jesus (as said by one of his Nephews). If you would like to contact is wife or myself please feel free.
Also posted on facebook - from his wife Susan -
My sweet husband, Kevin Janke, passed away early this morning. He was a generous man until the end. He gave the gift of his eyes and tissue. I believe he is at peace in the arms of Jesus. No dialysis. No pain. No heart problems. Katon and I will always love you, no matter what. XXOO
------
Katonsdad joined IHD in 2007 and was a kind and supportive member. He recently was having heart issues but being treated - this is a shock - he was 49 years old. RIP dear friend.

Oh no, oh no...
I've just realized that this is the first member of IHD that I have directly communicated with who has passed away. I never had the privilege of "speaking" to Epoman or Goofynina. This is such a shock and so very sad. I am so sorry.

He was very supportive and nice to everyone. This is very sad. I'll keep his family in my thoughts and prayers.
Glitter, you understand this more than most of us. I see your posts and always read the signature line and remember how much you loved Jack.
Thanks for sharing this Karol. It was nice of his family to post of Facebook. It is a sad day.

How terribly sad!...
What a lovely, lovely man... Giving to the end... Somebody will have the gift of sight thanks to him... I had several posts with him, and he was SO proud of Katon... Kevin called Katon, 'My greatest achievement in life'...
Kevin was my mum's Secret Santa last Christmas, and she's saddened to hear of his death... He was a very thoughtful SS... Mum's always cold, and Kevin sent her the most beautiful lightweight fleece rug of yellow, orange etc... Looks warm to even look at...
Kevin, may God bless and protect you, and may your gentle soul rest in peace...
Thinking of, and praying for Kevin's family...
Love to all...
Darth...
P.S. Let's be twice as thankful for each other today... Kevin's death shows us just how short life can be!....

Oh, such sad news! He seemed like a very sweet, loving, considerate man. I know he was off for a while with health problems, and I'm sad that he didn't recover. I was glad to see him posting not long ago and thought he was ok.
Eternal rest grant unto him, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
My condolences to his family, very sad to lose someone so young. Hugs to them.

Very sad news. Kevin gave me the advice to put pennies under my mattress pad to help with RLS. I feel it worked! I had less issues. He will be missed. I am glad he is finally dialysis free. RIP my friend.
