I think this guy is an amazing inspiration - makes me get my butt into the gym and do what I need to keep me strong and healthy!! If you haven't heard of him, check him out on Youtube and Facebook!!

BigSky is right.  And Okarol has posted some news articles about him as well.

I got to interview him at one point.  He was going to do Home Hemo, and at the time, my clinic was the only one in Texas that did that with a Nexstage machine.  He was going to move to Texas to better train.  Amazing man!  Inspirational to anyone.  Good website.  It will definatley get your butt in gear, if you need any motivation.

I'm sorry, haven't been on hear for a LONG time so I've missed a lot!! Either way, Shad is definitely inspirational - if only more dialysis patients would get out and exercise. I'm not sure if patients realize we most often die of cardiac complications and not our CKD. I hit the gym 3, 5, 6 days/week depending on my work schedule and try to follow the eat-clean diet with certain mods and a little cheating. I fell Sooooooo much better!!
