Well those chairs are SO uncomfortable....

A couple of weeks back, Rolando's regular chair was replaced by one large enough for two - a love seat! :cuddle;

Holey smoke!  A dialysis chair for two?  I can see it now one patient on both sides, two machines.

I'd request that only if they'd get the cute patient back who they sent off to another unit on her birthday... and we got on so well.... and seeing her always made my day (and my BP go up!)

*sigh*

Padda, I know exactly how you feel! I went on dialysis two days after my honeymoon...you can guess how romantic that trip was, since I had been ignoring symptoms I shouldn't have. I'm thinking we now need to repeat the honeymoon (Negril, Jamaica...any excuse to go back there!!)

You really should go again. I know you feel about being sick on your honeymoon. The first day we got to Vegas on our honeymoon, I ended up throwing up all night. My husband ended up taking me to urgent care, where I spent the netire next day on a gurney hooked up to IVs.  It took me 2 more days to back on my feet again. What a way to start the honeymoon! I feel for ya!

I hope the rest of your honeymoon was good, otherwise you need a do-over!

Yeah, it was better. We weren't to thrilled with Vegas itself tho. To crowded and too much pushy sales of a timeshare condo every time you turned around.

I threw up an average of once a day. We were at an all-inclusive resort (all you can eat and drink; non-motorized water sports; and entertainment), and I didn't get to enjoy any of it. The food was too rich, I certainly didn't feel like drinking, and all I wanted to do was lay on the beach or in the room and sleep.

I can honestly say that I have never had sex while on dialysis. I've tried numerous times but the nurses just wouldn't cooperate. However, before and after is a different story.

I was just kidding about the nurses. I would be afraid to try it due to the dangers involved.

My body chemistry was changed when i got sick. I used to love Brut deodorant when i was a kid but once i got sick it no longer worked for me. I was way smelly.
So i do know chemistry does change. I also notice i dont get any, if at all, insects bites while everyone around me gets them. Im sure they can smell the chemicals.
Natural repellent. Funny thing is that i had various females tell me i have a really nice natural aroma. They swear i had some lotion on or something. Go figure.

I also noticed the insect bite thing while i was on the big d. Before my kidney failure I used to be the one that got bitten to pieces, and when I started to get 'smelly' from all the toxins etc, I noticed that I hardly got bitten. One of the bonuses of kidney failure !

Now can someone please bring this topic to what its supposed to be, Bring Back The Sex !!!!! lol

What Tamara wants, Tamara gets...we finally went wild a couple of weeks ago and did it while I was hooked up to the machine. A smidge of paranoia, trying to keep my left arm still and kinda waiting to hear the machine's alram go off when some pressure went awry, but it didn't happen and a good time was had by all!!!   :2thumbsup;
