Tonight's supper will be baked salmon, rice, and some kind of canned vegetable probably.   :2thumbsup;

Nice dinner didn't happen.  It's 9:30 and we're just sitting down to scrambled eggs and pieces of bread.  (And fried bologna for Joe...shhh!)

Me too. Wait maybe it is the things I am eating that are making me fat! Hmmm. Nahhh. Has to be this thread.  :rofl;

Anyway last night's menu was One Pot Wonder Stew made by the hubby. Two small bowls of it and a salad.

« Reply #1062 on: May 31, 2007, 10:49:40 AM »

I get so bored with wondering what to cook for dinner.  Rob is so picky sometimes!  He seems to think I am Rachel Ray and can think and whip up anything at any time!   ;D

Last night we had hamburgers and rice (boring).  Tonight we are having pasta with my homemade tomato sauce, some meatballs and chicken sausages for Rob.  Oh and maybe some garlic bread.

Has anyone ever made a Crock Pot Meatloaf?  I saw a recipe for it on allrecipes.com, but didn't know how it would come out.

Thanks!

i've used my crock pot to make stuffed bell peppers, the stuffing is very similar to meatloaf. they came out just fine and are way yummy. a meatloaf should work just fine.

Uhhh, I don't think I'd do it.  Meatloaf to me is all about the crispy edges.   I bake mine in mini loaf pans, so there are more edges.

I went to Costco today and they had beautiful 2 packs of round roast.  I have one in the oven roasting with tons of onions and veggies and the other will get thrown in the crockpot tomorrow.

I may not have any room left to eat them if I don't lay off the pallet of cherries I got though.   I love cherry season.

Meat enchiladas, beans, rice and a diet coke and of course the  binders.

For those of you wondering what a One Pot Wonder is at my house.  It is everything thrown into one pot by the hubby and I wonder what is in it.  It is good stuff when he gets going with it.  He can make a wonderful beef stew just by adding stuff from the cupboard into the pot. He can only cook One Pot Wonders.  Thank God he CAN cook at all!

Hi ya Zach!   :waving;

I'm not going to be a good girl and add up the stats for the pot roast with gravy, buttered noodles, the buttered mix of carrots, green beans and baby corn and home made bread (white, of course) slathered with butter that I stuffed in my face last night.   :oops;  It's pretty rare that I eat that much though.
