Smart Balance is a butter substitute but it's better than margarine because it doesn't the trans fat stuff.  Plus it's supposed to actually IMPROVE your cholesterol.  We've been using it for a long time now, it tastes good, you can cook with it just fine, I'm glad it's at least one thing we're doing right LOL.
Thanks Sara!  :2thumbsup; I will look for it in my city!  :thumbup;

Honestly, no.  Its just that I've pretty much forgotten about the renal diet.  I remember doing it many moons ago but the memory is getting fuzzy.  What is it about Tito's Tacos anyway?  The first time I hear of members from here going there I'll be there too.  When are we going?

We have so many Mom and Pop taco places in So California it is getting ridiculous!  I like Taco Bell tacos.  But prefer Del Taco for french fries.

Goofynina and I will be going together real soon. They are very good, IMHO and the opinion of the 50-75 people in line at ANY time of the day. http://www.titostacos.com/ (lower your volume first)

;D ;musicalnote; I love Tito's Tacos, you'll Tito's too!. I love Tito's Taco what esle can you do! The only thing better than a Tito's Taco is TWO. ;musicalnote; ;D

You should go livecam or wait and go with goofnina and I, you are close enough. But JUST order the Taco's with cheese. The other menu items are so/so they are famous for their TACOS!

Tonight we are having browned ground beef and onions, either with c. of mushroom soup or a gravy I am going to attempt to make, over egg noodles.  Probably carrots on the side.

That reminds me, my mums recipe for lamb tacos would be suitable for the renal diet. Should I post it in the recipe section? You can use it for nacho's and all the other mexican type things like that.

I loooove creamed cottage cheese and vegemite or promite on toast. It is a great filling low fat breakfast which I like to have often. Cottage cheese is a bit high on the K side though.

For everyone who wanted it, I have posted mums taco recipe in the recipe section.
I havent done anything else yet as far as getting a Dx cookbook done. Got alot of things with myself to sort out first.
