Yesterday was my 8 year anniversary, so we are celebrating today :)  I'm having Spicy Seseme Chicken, sauteed veggies, fried rice, egg rolls, and crab rangoon.  YUMMMY!

Here's a photo of yesterday's lunch at Riz.  I ordered Basil chicken stir-fry (hold the soy sauce and other salty stuff), plain rice and the veggie spring roll.  Skipped the dipping sauce and picked the chicken and veggies out of the sauce, leaving most of it behind.  Yummy.

Chicken burrito and french fries and a coke, plus three binders for good effort!

Had a friend bring us dinner.... chicken thighs with cream of chicken soup and rice (cooked in the crockpot),  red new potatoes, banana pudding, and a salad made with cottage cheese, pineapple, coconut, pecans, sour cream, and cheddar cheese.  She used low sodium cream of chicken soup and fat free cottage cheese, sour cream and cheddar cheese.

It  looks soooooooooooooooooooo good!  Licking my chops waiting for hubby to get home.  Dang, now I feel bad...... those are all things I couldn't eat 3 weeks ago.  Sorry  :(

Enjoy every bite Donnia.  You've put in your time and deserve this new lease on the taste buds.

For dinner tonight I made a vegetable frittata (Italian style omelet) with green pepper, green onions, grated carrots, a little tomato, a tbsp of extra-old cheddar and a tbsp. of diced black forest ham.  Then I wrapped it in a tortilla which I folded in half over the frittata and crisped the whole thing in a non-stick pan.  Washed it down with my usual no-sodium soda water with lime juice.  Dessert was a canned peach and pear fruit salad and a couple of swedish ginger snaps.

We went to Babin's in the Kemah Boardwalk tonight. We had N'awlins style crab cakes as an appetizer. Then we had shrimp stuffed with a delectable crab stuffing, shrimp embrouchette, shrimp stuffed jalapenos, and dirty rice. Mmmmm... Babin's Seafood is my favorite place to eat!

I just ate at Kemah a couple of months ago
it was a Mexican food place and we sat outside and watched ships ( ate on roof )
and the place gave us way too much food
and it was so good
you know, we are almost neighbors

Yes, we are almost neighbors! My husband and I go to Kemah a lot since he does a lot of AV rentals out there. There's a little hamburger joint right as you turn in to the boardwalk that my husband loves. Sometimes we take the dogs there to walk and eat outside. When it's not hotter than heck out there anyway. Otherwise their littlle tongues would be dragging the floor!

For a seminar I went to, they fed us a salad, steak, baked potato, somesort of odd mixed veggies, a roll, and then cheesecake. Along with either coffee or iced tea, so I now need to drink more decaf to make up the difference of creg coffee I had. I hope I'm not wired through the night! :o

I have a beef roast in the slow cooker for supper.  We will have turnip greens, carrot, turnip, mashed potatoes, dumplings and gravy with it.  I have a homemade rhubarb coffee cake for dessert.  I made it with rhubarb from my rhubarb patch!!

Grilled jumbo shrimp with corn on the cob and deep fried green beans. I cook out most of the time because I hate doing dishes plus my grill is on the front porch right next to the washing machine. I can actually do laundry while I'm cooking supper.
