I find your post insulting and painful!  I am not eligible for a transplant!  Maybe if you read the boards instead of jumping to a conclusion it would be kinder to me! I have been put through all kinds of hell trying to get on a transplant list.  I have to live my life on dialysis for the rest of it!

Excuse me for celebrating my ten years of life!

Okay, goofball.  Read a little before you post.  Not everyone has the same issues.

Hey Ruben, do you have any idea at all how offensive this post is to us.  This is not the place for you to be soliciting for new customers.  I find it to be an abuse of our welcome to you and it is insensitive, pushy and just plain rude.    Makes me  :puke;

it's a few days late, but congrats on your anniversary...we all know how hard it is being on dialysis and that is quite an achievement to reach 10 years and remain positive and upbeat.   I hope you had a great party.

Congratulations
 :bandance; :bandance; :bandance; :bandance;

You are an absolute inspiration - I have shared your anniversary with my Dad - he was very surprised that anyone could survive 10 yrs on D.  I think he was under the impression that he would only survive a couple of years.  I truely believe you and your milestone has inspired him or at the very least given him a true life story to reflect on and to hopefully strive to accomplish too.

Cheers mate and here's to another 10 years.

I did the multiplication. From November 2, 1998 to November 2, 2008, with three dialysis treatments a week and no skips, (Yes, I have not skipped even one treatment in all this time!), I have had:

3*52*10= 1,560 dialysis treatments

Double the needles = 3,120 needles

Whooo hee!

Just glad to be alive and kicking still!

I mentioned to my extended family how encouraging it was to know that you have survived 10 years with the life-extending miracle of dialysis.  They wanted me to say congratulations to you.  But, at the same time it disturbed them that I found this information encouraging.  While they knew kidney failure was serious, they really had not considered how serious it really was.

So glad you had so much fun, wish I could have been there.
