As of today November 2, 2008 I have been on dialysis for TEN years.

 :bandance; :bandance; :bandance; :bandance; :bandance; :bandance; :bandance;

I am having a celebration of life today at my house.  Pasta, salad, cupcakes, soda and tea.
Something easy. I am expecting around 17 people.  We shall see.
Pizza Hut is providing the pasta, Costco the cupcakes and salad fixings.

A special THANK YOU to all of IHD.com. You all have kept me sane for the last three years!  My wish is I had found it sooner!

Today was awesome.  I set up the party. Had my sister's help and a friend.  Chips and dip, The Pizza Hut pasta was freaking amazing!!! Delicious.  The guests made short work of the four pasta pans I had ordered! Yummy Yummy!
Then cupcakes for dessert. I had several cupcakes left over, so I put them in plastic ware and froze them in my freezer. I will have cupcakes for a month!

We laughed, talked shop, several people who teach were here, laughed, told ghost stories and laughed some more.  Great to see everyone!

Happy dialysisversary to me!

The pasta was great. I was amazed it was tasty. The people who came over would not have eaten it if it had been not good.
