OK so I was asked to find out how many years of experience in dealing with Kidney Disease we have here as a group. It was discussed in this thread: http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=822.0 I will be adding the numbers together, all I want you to post is a NUMBER, like I will do in the first reply. Just count the number of years, count the time when you first found out you had kidney disease and ACTUALLY had to deal with it, either via medicine or dialysis. Again please NO explanations or breakdowns, just give me a number. Let's see who will be the first to not give JUST a number, remember JUST a number. We just want to know the total number of years of real life experience with kidney disease.

OK, I'll be the first! I would think transplants count because you are "dealing" with it. So, 9mo+17+OK OK...... 19 years! Did you READ the thread - Epoman "Let's see who will be the first to not give JUST a number, remember JUST a number."

So far the count is 162 years worth of experience.

I know this is just fun, but it has no merit. It is like seeing an advertisement that says "K&K Plumbing.....since 1835" What does that mean? The old farts that started the business are dead and GONE! They didn't even have plumbing in 1835! So, we have 162 years worth of experience? So what! If my Nephrologist Office boasted about their combines experience I'd say they were grabbing for straws! OK it is just for fun to see how many years of dialysis we have been on! Whatever!

Rerun, we better do something about this young whippersnapper, Kevno, calling us OLD! I threatened him with the dialysis police. What is next? *shakes big stick at Kevno*
