After class due to a bad instructor who got fired last year, ohhh wait as a class, we did! However, I just had a beer.

When was the lastime you couldn't wait o use the facilities when nature called and the nearest alley, bush, tree, ect. was your last salvation? :rofl;

   -glaucoma and surgery for that
     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye
     - vitrectomy in good eye post tx November 2003, totally blind for 4 months due to complications with meds and infection

Diagnosed with ESRD June 29, 1999
1st Dialysis - July 4, 1999
Last Dialysis - December 2, 2000

Kidney and Pancreas Transplant - December 3, 2000

Cataract Surgery on good eye - June 24, 2009
Knee Surgery 2010
2011/2012 in process of getting a guide dog
Guide Dog Training begins July 2, 2012 in NY
Guide Dog by end of July 2012
Next eye surgery late 2012 or 2013 if I feel like it

Last Friday I about did not make it home............it was an AWFUL feeling!!!!   

When was the last time you itched all night?   (they told me too much phosphorus but how can that be when my labs came back fine?)

I have had 2 grafts the last one finally "took"
I had 3 different catheters from Nov. 06 - Dec. 08
Got on the transplant list - Halloween Day 2008

You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them.    I BELIEVE THIS TO BE SOOOOO TRUE!

It hasn't kept me up all night sense I was on dialysis for my second go round.. about 18 years I think.   I do seem to itch quite a bit and my labs are fine as well. I read a post somewhere about a woman who's son had the same problem.. after some research she discovered that it was the type of dialyizer that was being used. once they changed it the itching went away.

Last time was about 1991 during a party. Next day I was sore. Sometimes if you just shouldn't follow people. Although it was worth dancing with her. :bandance; :bandance; :rofl;

When was the last time you had trouble doing something that seemed complicated at the time, but was really simple.

Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.

October 2008...post transplant....can you say...low salt, low phos, low potassium, low fat, low sugar?? I do so enjoy this water, but it's kinda bland.

Ok, back to Chris's question ----   years ago I opened a can of tuna and there was skin all through it    :puke;   It was hard to eat for days and I no longer eat tuna.
